Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio finds himself under increasing attack as he prepares to release new findings in his investigation of President Obama’s eligibility for the state’s 2012 election ballot.
“I have no intention of resigning,” said Arpaio, who is running for his sixth term as sheriff of Maricopa County. “They forget I have a four-decades long career in federal law enforcement that includes having been a special agent for the FBI and having worked for the Drug Enforcement Agency in the United States, as well as in Argentina, Turkey and Mexico.”

I lucked into an invite to a fancy house party in Phoenix a few years ago, and Joe was in attendance. He spoke to the group for about ten minutes, and joked, “Does anybody want to go out and start my car?” He’s totally aware of the danger to himself, but the man is an unstoppable force of nature, and fearless. He’s an old man who has seen and done it all, and now he only cares about his country, not himself. I wish we had a million like him.
Good to know that SOMEBODY has some balls anymore.

It was a very lucky break to score an invite to that party, let me tell you. It was over the weekend of the NRA convention in PHX a few years back.

The last Sheriff Arpaio press conference was in early March. As I recall it was delayed at least twice ...
This one should be sooner than later ... don't give the WH and their allies in the media time to generate more issues that detract from this brave sheriff and his volunteer team (posse) of investigators.

That has nothing to do with what I said. The context of my post was whether it should be treated as "news" or moved to a different forum. Corsi can advertise his book however he wishes.
