Liberals Litter on Earth Day

There are many things about liberals that are infuriating, but one of the most aggravating is their unabashed hypocrisy. From the President of the United States to Earth Day revelers in a San Francisco park, what sets liberals apart from sane people is that they rarely do what they demand from everyone else. It's almost as if the left's ideology embraced a tenet that if you preach about it, and if you look and talk the part, you're instantly exempt from actually doing what it is you promote.

In other words, liberals are like grown up Boy Scouts who love to wear the uniform and recite the oath, but refuse to live by it.

That talk-but-won't-walk tendency is exemplified when the President talks down the moneyed class and then fills his campaign coffers with gifts from rich people. It's Michelle Obama hawking healthy food and publicly eating anything but. It's the mentality that tries to force generosity by way of government mandate on people who already give, initiated by folks like Joe Biden whose charitable contributions totaled all of 1.5% of his 2011 annual income.

It has never been about the environment. It is about taking away power, assuming power in their hands, taxing others to make their gain. The environment was simply a subject to use.

I don’t know why their habitual lack of sanitation and hygiene surprises anyone. Liberals openly eschew personal responsibility. They are perpetual adolescents for whom everything is someone else’s problem.

Earth Day has long passed it’s sell-by date. I paid it no notice this year.

The Orthodox Christian calendar gave me no room to think about Earth Day anyway. The day itself was Thomas Sunday/Renewal Sunday, highlighted by Divine Liturgy and Holy Communion. Pascha was the week before.

Then there were Tax Day, the Boston Marathon, and any number of personal events that were a lot more important than some made-up observance.

Besides, Earth Day has now been tarnished by obama’s pseudo-environmental programs, which are really designed to promote dictatorship and mass misery. So phooey to it!!!!

I recently started noting how many automobiles with Obama bumper stickers conserve anything - jack rabbit starts, driving way over the speed limits, talking on their cell phones while driving, and littering are all hallmarks of typical liberal Obama supporters.

As an experiment be a little more observant a few days a week - it will solidify what we have known all along.

I also notice that an awful lot of those stickers are on gas hog SUVs. I believe people should drive whatever they want. It just floors me that these idiots are so clueless, they don't even know Obama wants to make it too expensive for them to drive anything bigger than a cracker box.
