Yeah, but, it’s time to face the facts.

You mean the Santorum who beat Newt in PA and almost tied him in RI and wasn’t even in the race anymore? That Santorum?

If anybody is the Grinch it is Santorum, the political whore who helped Spectre pass the Obamacare bill.

Santorum wasn’t much of anything , much less a Conservative.

Newt could have beaten Obama. If Romney does luck out and beat Obama we still don’t have anything representing a Conservative.

What we have is another Mccain -Dole Fiasco.

Santorum was a boy running for a man’s job.

I’m betting Rick could beat Newt in a footrace and Newt could beat Rick at arm wrestling. And those matter about as much as the primaries you mentioned. Neither one came close to the nomination, did they? Neither one had a chance against the hundreds of millions of dollars available to Mitt Romney. It’s almost like we’re discussing fantasy football or a Star Trek episode.

"Newt could have beaten Obama"

Yeah, that was all too apparent...how could Newt not have seen that?

That’s probably true at this juncture.

"Saint" Santo is to endorse the extremely "Extreme conservative" [Haahaa] candidate:

-snip-

"Former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum says he expects to endorse Mitt Romney.

Santorum says that he believes Romney is "the right guy" to challenge President Barack Obama. ..."

Sainty 'Expects to endorse' the 'Right guy' Romney - LoL.

Well Jack we all have opinions.

IMO Newt was the only candidate worth voting for. Now we see that santorum quit, and Romney is certainly not worth voting for, so you can hate Newt if you like we ended up with a RepubloDem running as our candidate.

Even if we win we lose.

And what will be your position when your boy Newt backs Milt next week? Will you attack him with as much childish vigor?

Gingrich out, will endorse Romney

The former Speaker is likely to appear with Romney next week at a campaign event to make a formal endorsement.
By Philip Elliot / April 25, 2012

Excerpt:

Gingrich had a friendly telephone conversation Wednesday with Romney and had started planning an event where he would throw his support behind the likely nominee, Gingrich spokesman R.C Hammond said. The pair agreed to work together to unite conservatives against President Barack Obama.

“It’s clear Romney is the nominee and the focus should be on defeating Obama. We should not focus on defeating ourselves,” Gingrich told disappointed supporters in Kings Mountain, N.C., the morning after Romney tightened his grip on the nomination by sweeping primary contests in five states.

As if this hasn’t been Gingrich’s plan all along...

Oh please. I never said Newt was perfect, but you SantoBots displayed “childish vigor” of zealots endorsing the guy whose record was liberal on spending and who sought working with liberals by tooting it in his political ads.

Yep. Romney, via Adelson, played FRingrichers masterfully. The only question is whether Gingrich was in on the scam or had his ego played by Adelson without realizing he was being used and then discarded.

It’s over now. We’ve now got Romney. Anybody for lemonade?

[crickets chirping]

I didn’t think so.
