Houston GOP Sells Leadership Position to a Malcolm X Teaching Democrat
Texas Trash Talk ^ | 5/1/2012 | Colleen Vera

I used to be so naive. I figured, if someone was running for political office, they must be a member of the party they represent. So, if I vote straight party, I am actually voting for people who think like me. Right? After all, why would anybody lie about that? Isn’t that something the parties check out?  And, why would anyone even try to infiltrate the opposing party? Won’t they get caught sooner or later?

Well, not in the Harris County Republican Party. Here, a 5-D (strong Democrat) voter can apparently buy or talk his way onto the Republican Primary ballot and, for an extra $1,000, can buy a seat at the Republican Leadership Council.  With apparently no one checking his background, he simply smooth talks his way through the primary using all the right conservative lingo - “God”, “Military Service”, “Family”, “Duty”, “Honor”, “Courage”, “Christian”, “Ministry”…  The voters assume the well educated, well  spoken candidate has been checked out by their party and take him at his word.

But what would the party have found if they had bothered to check? What should the party have questioned before placing a beautiful “Republican Leadership Council” logo next to the name of a candidate on the Harris County GOP website?

You won't believe it. (Continued here: http://bit.ly/IACaEW )

Republican. Democrat. Both are Progressive. All they differ on is methods of implementation. They’ve come close enough to the goal that you’ll see lots of cross-pollination in the years to come. Or is it cross-contamination?

More evidence to illustrate that all of us have been played for fools, all the way up to the nominee for President they shoved down our throats through Machine thuggery politics.

We are WAAAY past the point of fixing or even SLOWING what is coming if we do not get our minds out of the trap they have set for us.

We better be thinking WAAAY different if we want to survive.

A Faustian bargain was made by the GOP leadership, in exchange for the complete political irrelevance of Conservatism and a promised piece of the pie in Obama’s Fundamentally Transformed America.

“...all the way up to the nominee for President they shoved down our throats through Machine thuggery politics.”

Hm...could you please your understanding of exactly how one becomes the Republican nominee for President?

The GOP jas lost millions of voters by behaving like Obama's Chicago Machine.

The Michigan Republican Party (MRP) Credentials Committee voted 4-2 last night to give Mitt Romney both of the state's at-large delegates, State Policy Committee Chair Mike Cox told MIRS today.

Cox was one of two "no" votes on the committee which met via telephone, along with attorney Eric Doster The "yes" votes included GOP National Committeeman Saul Anuzis, a Romney supporter, and MRP Chair Bobby Schostak.

That would put the delegate split at 16 for Romney and 14 for Rick Santorum, after each candidate won 14 delegates apiece in those divided by Michigan's 14 congressional districts.

As MIRS first reported on Wednesday, the MRP was delaying a final decision on the delegate split until after consulting with attorneys.

Cox said that according to the MRP rules, Santorum and Romney should each get one of Michigan's two at-large delegates based on their take of the popular vote.

"I supported Mitt, but the vote was clearly wrong," Cox said of the Credentials Committee. "It's kind of like Third World voting. We published rules and then we voted to change the rules."

Actually, conservatives have only themselves to blame for RINO Romney heading the ticket. Any idiot knew that ONE conservative should have been chosen to contend for the nomination against the “moderate” candidate. But no, conservatives can’t get their act together and once again have no voice.

So the choice is between a go-along-and-get-along Republican in the Bob Dole mode and a diabolical Socialist.....some choice.

If you are stuck in the naive thinking that our votes count even when the machine makes a determination of whom will be anointed, I’m sorry for you. Things have changed, and from reports, Cook County corruption has gone national, and the Romney camp is employing it as well as Obama is.

See post 5 above for starters. Reports from delegates or FReepers in attendance at MANY state caucuses reported Cook County-styled thuggery ala post No. 5, including making rules changes after the votes and silencing any protests that gave Romney the nod.

This was a mob-styled anointing, not a primary vote.

But that said, the circular firing squad that Romney, Obama and the Media in conjunction with the Ron Paul Mob Zombies had set up to divide and conquer succeeded beyond their wildest imaginations.

The article mentions former Houston city council member Michael Yarbrough .... the story is really about Johnson, Yarbrough's chief of staff, but if you go back in the newspaper morgue for more about Yarbrough, you'd better wear a clothespin on your nose. The guy was world-class sleaze and an iconic example at the local level of why the black community is dysfunctional.

Other mud diamonds in the tiara of dysfunctionality in Houston black politics include Craig Washington, former congressman representing the aforementioned (in the article) CD 18 once represented by Barbara Jordan (and before her, George H. W. Bush), and present CD 18 incumbent Sheila Jackson Lee.

s Apparently Johnson has gone out of his way to register in Sheila's district, magnetized by her focus on society's "vunnables" who are "vunnable" to economic hardship and the taxes pressed down on potential employers .... and to impressment in black-racist organizations like Quanell's.

I’ll blame the backers of millions of dollars of attack ads, the GOP-e party favorites rule making control, the silent conservative media, and a slimy rat snake from Massachusetts (apologies to actual rat snakes).

We had one person — Sarah Palin. She held every pillar of conservatism equally. She did not have the past moral failures, or the govt. can solve every problem attitude of some, she was solid on II Amendment issues, solid on defending the nation and supporting the military. Although she herself did not serve, her eldest son serves. She was ready to take on waste and corruption in govt. and had a successful track record to prove it.

That group of filthy snakes I first mentioned made certain the more gutless conservatives would fear her by devising the lies that would be spread beginning the day she showed up on the radar. It truly was a co-ordinated effort to make sure a real conservative would never get the presidency.

The choice we have is not just go along to get along Bob Dole. Bob Dole is Ronald Reagan compared to the socialist front runner the republicans have now. The choice is between a Marxist Socialist and a Fabian Socialist which is in reality no choice at all. Their goals are exactly the same. The only difference is that George Soros likes the Fabian Socialist better. Whichever of the two socialists win will tell us just how much power Soros has in the US.

Actually, conservatives have only themselves to blame for RINO Romney heading the ticket.

No, I do not buy the blame laid square at our own feet. Team Romney and Obama's media chose Mitt as the preferred nominee early on in this process. Their bias was not even hidden, and neither were the Regime's nods to the propaganda hordes about "Romney would be the biggest worry for Obama".

People tend to go with the herd. They want to pick a winner, not a loser - even if it goes against every core value they have. Elections are become like off track betting - most will go with the herd to pick a winner.

Any idiot knew that ONE conservative should have been chosen to contend for the nomination against the “moderate” candidate. But no, conservatives can’t get their act together and once again have no voice.

The design to divide and conquer was begun almost as soon as Obama was sworn in. Palin was crucified not only by the media, but by Romney's bunch also, because I truly believe the Ruling Class and the Obama bunch were more than worried about what she might attract as an invincible following.

When she was so tarnished as to be toxic, even among many Conservatives who regurgitated the same talking points the media did, she was made to be unelectable. After which the Ruling Class went ahead and did the same thing with every single other Conservative running, along with the Obama media.

So the choice is between a go-along-and-get-along Republican in the Bob Dole mode and a diabolical Socialist.....some choice.

You have that wrong. The choice is between a diabolical Socialist and an overt diabolical Marxist.

It's not a choice, it's a trap.

One I will not participate in order to deceive myself that I was saving the nation by voting fro Romney.
