Of course there is no full-fledged media retreat from Barack Obama, but the number of gratuitous swipes …..certainly curious.
All of these reports from various media outlets have been posted in just the last few weeks. None of them will be helpful to Obama’s re-election and all of them are the kind of reports heretofore found only in “new media” sources if at all.
“….New York Times’ Arthur Brisbane called on “The Paper of Record” to determine “who is the real Obama?” Brisbane said that the Times hasn’t done much to help develop a true picture of the real Barack Obama as it should now that he is standing for re-election.
An Indiana television station reported that through an IRS loophole millions of illegal aliens are getting tax “refunds” totaling in the BILLIONS for the support of children in Mexico and other foreign countries.
After Obama’s weak April jobs showing the Washington Post (a legendary Democrat house organ) explained why his numbers are false and the true unemployment rate should be set at 11.1% not the 8.1%.
" ….reminded readers that the 115,000 jobs “added” to the workforce doesn’t even keep pace with the normal number of work age Americans entering the job market. Worse still …“labor force participation rate” was injected into the discussion….
Maybe the worse breach of the media’s “omerta” of silence about anything that shows Obama in a bad light was the report from Jessica Yellin of CNN whose liberal credentials are impeccable.
Covering an Obama campaign rally at the University of North …… “In 2008 candidate Barack Obama spoke @ UNC’s Dean Smith Center. Capacity 22,000. Today he’s at Carmichael Area, seats -9,000. Where’s the luv?”
“By tweeting she [got].. bad news report past the “gatekeepers” above her.”….

I think the powers that be in the Democrat Party have set a “Date X” by which time if Barry’s poll numbers have not turned around, they will execute a plan to throw him under the bus.

It’s early in the election cycle and the Media is keeping their options open. That’s the whole point of picking Obama’s Republican opponent. They can live with Romney. In fact, they’ll have more fun with a Romney presidency.
“O” as political reality in American politics was invented/shamelessly cultivated by this self-same ‘media’... and so it will be impossible to put the Genie back into the bottle!
Besides, LONG before it sold itself to the enemies of this country, the MSM displayed the most unwholesome, gargantuan and ravenous appetite for political carrion. When and if this carrion was not to be found, the MSM created it of whole cloth.... that's how we got “O”.... thank you very much!!
Unless it can produce/find larger or more successful carrion, the MSM will NEVER release it's association with THIS one!

Obama did get some flogging...and it was good.
First time I have seen that on the Sunday Morning Shows from anywhere other than Foxnews.

Do we have to go through this every election year? The answer is no. The Media is preparing now, when it doesnt matter, by saying a few minor negative things so that later, when it does matter, they can campaign for the Democrat and when called on it say "Look, nobody has been tougher on him than us! Why, remember that time we told the truth back in April about the crowds he was drawing?" and then go back to lies and spin.
What on earth are you smoking. The media has their collective heads so far up his behind, he can do anything he wants and they will never report it. They are what our inglorious journalism schools put out. If you put 50 of them in a room and ask them to tell you what is included in the first amendment, only 1 of them over 50 years old could tell you what is included. And these are members of the “elite” media. But my grandaddy always told me that crap always floats to the top. And that is what the media is today. Pure, undiluted pig crap!
More likely, if he wins a second term the rampaging children of the Left will demand that he immediately fulfill the rest of their Socialist wish list NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!
And since the Congress is likely to be even more Republican than it is today, that will prove a sticky wicket for Barry.
We would experience four years of gridlock with an increasingly angry Left turning on him.
