So there is no daylight then between what Behe proposed and what you called “retarded”, and you are not interested in defending his narrative of “intelligent design” operating over billions of years consisting of millions of (miraculous -wink wink) interventions.
As to his argument of irreducible complexity compelling a belief in an intelligent designer - it is a “god of the gaps” argument, it is not science, it is an argument from ignorance, it is nothing new, and even if true it would be useless.
I believe in a God who is a competent designer - who created a universe that unfolds according to natural laws and doesn't need the miraculous (or maybe aliens) intervention that Behe imagines.
And my argument is not based on an insult - I am merely repeating the insult that you used.
Here is a word. Irony.
Like coming on a thread discussing Behe’s theory and someone outlining how “retarded” it is. While defending Behe’s theory - unaware.
Irony is often hilarious!!!!!!
The laugh is on you.

“...and you are not interested in defending his narrative”
Your delusions have gotten the best of you. You should reread my reply. You did not address anything I wrote and are merely rambling now. It is not an issue of “gaps” or whatnot or interest or non-interest in defending this or that narrative. It is pure mathematics. You cannot explain away irreducible complexity with mere rhetoric or “gap” this or “gap” that. If you are a conservative, you should understand the vast difference between realism and rationalizations. You speak nonsense without comprehending even the simplest cell organelles. When you’re ready to discuss the topic of the thread and the points made instead of ignoring each and every one, you let me know Mr.”I’m a Scientist!”.
