Yup, a silly syllogism.

1. We incorporated “one nation under God” into the pledge of allegiance in 1954.

2. We have not won a war since 1954.

3. Therefore we have not won a war since 1954, because we incoroporated “one nation under God” into the pledge of allegiance.

Hmmmm, lets try another one.

1. HerrBlucher was born in 1954.

2. We have not won a war since 1954.

3. Therefore we have not won a war since 1954 because of the birth of HerrBlucher.

This is fun.......

Are you sure about that? On freerepublic use of the ad hominem fallacy seems to be the most common.
