Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett is threatening to keep President Obama’s name off the state’s ballot in November unless he receives confirmation from Hawaii that it has a valid birth certificate on file for him.
Bennett, who spoke to Arizona radio host Mike Broomhead Thursday, said he requested the confirmation eight weeks ago and has not gotten it. Hawaii, he said, does not have to supply a certified copy of the birth certificate, merely send him an email confirming that it has one.
Asked by Broomhead if he would remove Obama’s name from the ballot if Hawaii fails to comply, Bennett said: “That’s possible. Or the other option would be that I would ask all the candidates, including the president, to submit a certified copy of their birth certificate.”
Despite overwhelming evidence that Obama was born in Hawaii, the issue of his birth continues to dog him. Thursday, Breitbart Big Government reported on a promotional booklet by Obama’s own literary agency listing him as having been born in Kenya.
Bennett said Hawaii law permits government officials to request verification of possession of a birth certificate in lieu of a certified copy.
“They could say yes tomorrow and the whole thing goes away,” Bennett said. “If they can’t say yes to that simple question, than it makees we wonder if we have to take it to another level. One way or another, we have to have some simple verification that people are qualified for the office if they’re going to be on the ballot here in Arizona.”

This simple mind thinks that it is incumbent for the Secretary of State of all 57 states to do due diligence to validate the candidacy of folks on the respective state’s ballot.

His heart is in Kenya. Early in his first term, rahm and several others working for him made multiple trips to Kenya. It was reported in the news, but only as a minor story, nothing to see here, move on type stories.
He has managed to set the table for financial destruction and/or a terrorist attack. Why would he want to be here when the shtf?
My thinking is that he is going through the motions, raising tons of cash from his supporters, socking it away and making plans to skip town on election day. It would cause a lot of political chaos, but what does he care.

What was the writer of ths drek on when this was penned? There is no such firm, uncontested evidence regarding his birth in Hawaii or anywhere else. Unless his was the second virgin birth in history, then there is aither a certified long form birth certificate for ole Jug Ears or he crept out from under a rock. It one or the other.
Or it gives Sheriff Joe a piece of document fraud to pounce on if they send a letter stating that they have the BC when they don't. I'm not a legal expert, but doesn't this give AZ standing?
I predict they'll wait until the very last minute, then send that email. That will get him on the ballot, and prevent anyone from having enough time to mount any kind of challenge to it before the election.

Seems to me if Hawaii can’t find the documentation, they don’t have the documentation. “I just know it’s around here somewhere!” is not good enough. Although they will still be allowed to get away with it.

Do you have a certified copy of a birth certificate that verifies that Barak Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii?
If the AZ sec of state omitted the “born in Hawaii”, they could just have a certified copy of a birth certificate that says Barry was born in Kenya.
