Zimmerman trial outrage
The Washington Times ^ | May 25, 2012 | Professor Karen L. Bune, George Mason University

Things have spun out of control in the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case in Sanford, Fla. (“Zimmerman’s account of killing corroborated,” Web, Thursday).

The police were instantly and unfairly blasted for failing to arrest Mr. Zimmerman, the Sanford police chief stepped down when he shouldn’t have, Mr. Zimmerman was already fingered as the guilty party before a thorough and fair investigation was completed, civil rights leaders descended upon the town pointing accusatory fingers, and a bounty was placed on Mr. Zimmerman’s head. In addition, media outlets and talking heads put their own spin on the story.

The case has now devolved into a turf battle of tense race relations. Parties are jumping to conclusions that are not based on facts or evidence but instead on the preponderance of divergent public opinion.

Undoubtedly it is a tragedy that this episode occurred at all and resulted in the death of Trayvon Martin. However, in light of new facts based on an autopsy of the deceased, photos of Mr. Zimmerman coupled with a paramedic’s report, additional witness reports and other information, the determination of who the bona fide victim was may, in time, demonstrate that Trayvon Martin was not the completely innocent party some might have hoped.

Certainly Mr. Zimmerman made a tremendous mistake in not obeying the dispatcher’s orders to remain in his vehicle until police arrived. What followed that instruction, however, is where the case presently stands.

Like everyone else in this country and under the tenets of the Constitution and the laws of the land, Mr. Zimmerman remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law....

Here’s my analysis...

Whites fear this case will set a precedence that whites will no longer be allowed to defend themselves against black criminals, since if a hispanic can’t do so, there’s no way they will let a white guy do so.

Blacks fear this case will set a precedence that blacks will no longer be allowed to walk around freely in white areas and that if they do they will be assumed guilty and confronted by gun carrying whites and if the blacks do not respond with total subservience and submission to the whites, they will be shot.

The above fear of the blacks is, in my opinion, mistaken and was created by a negligent and incompetent and possibly criminally liable media.

All she does is talk about all she does and constantly brags about what she does. Her personality was pretty annoying also.

You will learn nothing from this class. All she does is brag about what she has done (write articles on officer.com). I am upset I paid for this class and waisted my gas getting there. Grades easy though. I

From the 911 transcript and maps f the neighbrhood, it appears that Zimmerman wasn’t in his truck when the dispatcher said they didn’t need him to follow the suspect. He was at the other end of the street from the truck.

What is particularly disturbing is the hatred that has been directed at him, to the point of a bounty placed on his head by groups that have faced no consequences for such threats.

It appears the Justice Department refuses to pursue criminals of a certain classification.

How wrong would I be to think that:

1. This case will lead to civil unrest
2. If it does not that something else will before summer is over
3. If oblablaloon wins in November we are sunk
4. If oblablaloon does not win in November there will be hell to pay.

Yes, he had already left his truck when the dispatcher told him he didn’t need to ‘do that.’

What is amazing is that we, just out here reading this on the internet can pick up all the nuances of that recording. Yet people paid to report on this. People who presumably have the same transcript available to them that we read. Commentators of left right and center. All these ‘professional journalists’ get this one detail so horribly wrong? It almost seems like it is contrived to breathe life into what should have long been a dead story.

It is also disconcerting to contemplate the possibility that Mr. Zimmerman could be scapegoated to avoid the eruption of civil unrest

Mr. Zimmerman will most surely be "scapegoated" if he wins a trial or if he charges are dropped. The kenyans will descend on him with a "civil rights" trial at the end of which he will be sentenced to more time than would be at all likely for conviction of mere 2d degree.

Mr. Zimmerman made a tremendous mistake in not obeying the dispatcher’s orders to remain in his vehicle until police arrived.

Why, after all this time, do they still spread this inaccuracy?
Blame the victim, hug the thug.

Some Blacks (men and women) have a habit of intimidating and beating up people when they feel dissed or just want to pull off a crime. The edgy temperment makes people afraid of them and they like it. Thug makes them feel powerful.

I think that is what Trayvon was engaged in doing to Zimmerman. Blacks are afraid of losing the bully thug power like Trayvon did if conceal carrying targets are allowed to shoot someone who attacks them. A lot more people are carrying these days. Instead of gaming the criminal justice system or going to prision, they will be dispatched by their targets to an early grave.

An armed society is a polite society. A lot of Blacks are not polite and they don’t want to lose thug power.

When Zimmerman is acquitted, I hope he goes after the MSM, Late night talk hosts, and slugs at MSNBC who generated all the falsities about him and made him a target, Then he should go after the Black Pathers and the Obama/Holder Injustice for non-blacks department.

Finally somebody said it. Any cop knows a dispatcher can’t give orders. Orders come from police supervisors. Been there. Take it from an ex-cop.

Megyn Kelly Interviews Alan Dershowitz & Bernie Goldberg. Is There Such A Thing As The “But-If” Clause? – (Video)

Posted on May 18, 2012by Ad rem

This morning, Megyn Kelly conducted an excellent interview with both Alan Dershowitz and Bernie Goldberg regarding George Zimmerman and the issues that will define a successful claim of self-defense. Kelly did a marvelous job of handling the give and take between her guests, leading to specifics like a “perfect” and “imperfect” self-defense being explained by Dershowitz…who then went on to claim that it doesn’t make any difference WHO started the initial encounter.

In Florida, the defendant is accorded “perfect” self-defense even if he started the confrontation. Many states have “imperfect” self-defense that would consider the fact that your actions may have led up to the confrontation, and thus you would not be safe from criminal prosecution. Kelly said she believes the prosecution’s case will in all probability come down to the written testimony of the police officer who wrote that the incident could have been avoided had Zimmerman not confronted Martin. Dershowitz’s response? “There is no such thing as a “But-If” clause. Really, an excellent interview.

OK - I’m going to throw a huge hypothetical out for folks to play with:

There is so much scuttlebutt about Obama and how his signing of a particularly worrisome Executive Order giving himself far more authority than any President has had before him to declare Martial Law and control EVERYTHING... There are other rumors flooding about that he will be the spearhead of a massive racial “uprising” or other major “disaster” that will give him the excuse he “needs” to take advantage of those new powers...

So - is there any chance of a Zimmerman trial between now and the election - or even before the 2013 inauguration?

Considering the riots and other civil unrest that has happened in conjunction with unfavorable decisions/rulings over the years... and the fact that Zimmerman has already been ruled as “guilty” in the eyes of many Americans (thanks to the flagrant lies of the MSM and the loud pontification from the race-baiters) - while the evidence is mounting up high that Zimmerman fits NONE of the images painted of him. Not racist, not violent, and overall - what very well could be considered a “good guy”.... who indeed DID have the injuries claimed, and who didn’t “go looking for a black guy to shoot” as we were led to believe...

A verdict of “not guilty” could spark the worst race riots this nation has ever seen. The only thing I can think of that might be even worse - would be the if Congress were to impeach and convict Obama for his easily provable “high crimes and misdemeanors”.
