THIS DAY IN HISTORY Democrats filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act

Michael Zak wrote the book and reminds us that Democrats, the party of Slavery, Secession and Segregation... fought against equality:

On this day in 1964, Everett Dirksen (R-IL), the Republican Leader in the U.S. Senate, condemned the Democrats' 57-day filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Leading the Democrats in their opposition to civil rights for African-Americans was Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV). Byrd, who got into politics as a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan, spoke against the bill for fourteen straight hours. Democrats still call Robert Byrd "the conscience of the Senate."

In his speech, Senator Dirksen called on the Democrats to end their filibuster and accept racial equality.

A day that should live in infamy, yet ex-Kleagle Sen. Byrd(D) until recently served.

And let's not forget that Al Gore's dad, then a US Senator, was part of the Democrats' filibuster and his final vote was ‘nay!’

Got to love that editorial cartoon that clearly links the socilaist scum of today that want me to pay for their healthcare with the Condederate Scum who forced people to toil in their fields.

Do you disagree with the editorial cartoonist’s view that those who demand that others pay for their healthcare are as bad as those who held other humans in slavery?

Or do you believe that it was fine and dandy to hold people in slavery and great to have others to pay for your healthcare?

While you’re at it, don’t forget that Algore’s Daddy-kins was the paid for b*tch of communist industrialist Armand Hammmer - the prototype of George Soros.

Never owned a person in my life, never agreed with it.Don’ like payin’ for someone to sit on there butt and not provide for themselves and family .We ain’t scum down here.

I think that someone wanting others to pay for their HC are worse than the slave owner. The slave owner does’nt affect me (unless I lived back then, who knows) ,these leeches do.

"The entire main thread should be sent to every NAACP member."

No matter. They know the truth but are busy with the business of keeping the population stable on the democrat plantation.
