Should The Secret Service Keep All Secrets - Including The Activities Of President Bill Clinton?
JoeClarke.Net ^ | 06/11/2012 | JoeClarke.Net

A Senate panel investigation has sent out 7000 emails to active and former Secret Service agents asking for their input on the behavior of their brother Secret Service agents recently, and in times past, in various parts of the world.

Other witnesses to the party-on attitude of the SS are also providing historical narratives, such as a Fort Worth Texas columnist, Ray Sanders, who recalls the drunken and riotous behavior of SS agents in Dallas way back in 1963 - the week JFK was assassinated.

So, an agency's activities which have remained Top Secret for years, will now have to divulge the sacred inner workings of those closest to the American presidents - including former President William Jefferson Clinton. Now, we know BJ Clinton loved the ladies, except, sadly, Hillary, and had been accused of rape, sexual assault, and other sorts of carnal knowledge in the Oval Office, which he had almost gotten away with, if not for the revelation of the infamous DNA stained Blue Dress worn by the pizza delivery girl with the black beret.

So, if the esteemed Secret Service members, active and retired, are being asked to reveal heretofore secrets about each other's behavior, should they also divulge tidbits about President Clinton's numerous governmental affairs?

It was never investigated at least formally, and it’s not much remember today...but the night before JFK’s assassination, at least some of the agents were taken out by the Dallas police to a Blind Pig...after hours drinking and prostitution establishement.

Some carried on until four in the morning, and then showed up for Kennedy’s security detail, badly hung-over.

BTW...the Blind Pig was owned by a Mr. George Senator...a former roommate of Jack Ruby...the lone nut assassin who killed Oswald...the lone nut assassin who “killed” JFK.

Why would it matter?

Why not allow silence to speak?

That’s kind of why I think they should stick with tradition. We could find that Clinton was raping children in the Oval Office and it wouldn’t make a bit of difference.

No SS protection once they are out of office. We do not elect Kings & Queens. They are public “servants” and certainly they need the extra protection offered by the SS during their terms but after that, NO!

I remember that quote by a Congress person who stated that “
They would not vote for Clinton’s impeachment, even if he raped a kid.” Who said that if anyone?

Sounds like a Trafficant quote but I don’t think it was. He said we should impeach the SOB for selling us out to China.

Most of them can easily afford their own security after leaving office.

I would allow them a few years of protection till things settle but beyond that no.

Silence can’t speak, it just elicits assumptions.

I agree. All it would do is distract from the real problems and probably cost the taxpayers in the end.

Do SS agents take an oath “to protect and defend” the Constitution or the President? If both, should not the former win out over the latter? Or are they somehow convinced that covering up for the President and averting scandal is in the Constitution’s best interests?

I believe that there was a law passed during the Clinton years (in 1997 maybe) that all future presidents would only get SS protection for ten years after leaving office.

I recently read something by Malcolm Gladwell (I think) about a JFK theory that was completely new to me. He said the “magic” bullet would have been fired by a member of JFK’s immediate detail, in the moment, resulting in an unintentional kill shot.

I don’t consider Gladwell a nutcase, so I read it with interest. He seems to like the theory, and says (probably correctly) that such a horrible blunder may have been too much for the American psyche. Are we better off considering off the wall conspiracies for 50 years than we would have been (at the height of the Cold War) to acknowledge that our basic executive protection regime was subject to massive and profound human failure?

I’ve read most of the major books on the assassination...which by no means makes me an expert...just a crank. I am aware of this theory...never seen any evidence to support it. To the best of my understanding it’s just a theory.

The Zapruder film doesn’t seem to fit this theory in any way. To me it is very clear that JFK was hit first from the front, then a bullet to the upper back from the rear, and finally the head shot from the front.

In fact...that’s what reporters at Parkland were first told by JFK’s assistant press flack...on the scene.

For the first time in US history almost the entire cabinet was out of the country...flying to Japan...quickly LBJ (who I believe was deeply involved) took control of the situation.

There is a pretty covincing press photo of Oswald standing in front of the Book Depository watching the parade as Kennedy gets hit. The media was told it was Billy Lovelady...but if you check the clothing Oswald was wearing when arrested...it matches the photo perfectly.

See...I told you I was a crank.

As a student of the JFK assassination I find your information very interesting. I have a multitude of books including the one by the doctor that first saw him. The web is really tangled as in tangled web we weave...

I went back to see if I could find Gladwell’s reference, and it turns out he was referring to a book by Bill James (the sabremetric guru of baseball fame). James apparently is a big proponent of this; I think James is a tad strange, but his analyses are usually hard to refute. I believe he looks at the JFK assassination with Occam’s Razor in mind.

According to James, the “magic bullet” was of a different type than the original two, but of a type matching the rifle of the agent in question. I suppose in James’ estimation, Occam’s Razor would tell us that there was more than one gunman, we know there were other people with guns there (the Secret Service and law enforcement), so one of them must have participated (deliberately or accidentally).

I have no idea if what James states about the forensics is true, but hearing/reading it for the first time, I find it extremely interesting.

Like when then president Clinton broke his ankle at a drunken hooker-party in Florida?

Fact: Nearly 30 years after the assassination there are still over 50,000 documents referring to events of that day locked down.

The only other information receiving this kind of protection from the public are Obama’s LFBC, draft registration, and high school and college grades.
