How am I a Romney lover? Seriously? I can’t stand the man. But you know what? I hate Obama more, so if you have a viable alternative let’s hear it. Face reality, its Obama or Romney come November. You come up with a better candidate and a plan to elect him and I will listen, otherwise I vote for Romney.

Wow. I had no idea I was that powerful. Thanks...while this was going on I was in the military in Italy. How on Earth did I support the federal government bailing out GM. I did not have anything to do with it. Whatever you are smoking is quite powerful.

It goes to show that all the knashing of teeth during the primary was BS....they will get behind any candidate that the GOP puts in front of them. People laugh when I say that if Mayor Bloomberg were put up as our Republican candidate, FREEPERS would be slobbering all over themselves saying how great he is and how they can’t wait to get to the polling place to vote for him.....I am not exaggerating one bit.

ER... Some dramatic hollywood-based fantasy should have no bearing on real life decisions unless you are a drama-queen ruled by your emotions instead of logic and reason.
Obama must go. No-one likes Romney, but he's in the lead. There's no guarantee he will beat Obama, but for now the GOP candidate is ahead of anyone else opposing Obama and you offered no viable alternative.
It's time to lead, follow or get out of the way.
LEAD: If you don't like Romney, then make your case for your preferred candidate that can snatch the win away from Romney and Obama. Please, PLEASE, *PLEASE* give me an option that can definitely get ahead of the GOP candidate and I'll take it!
FOLLOW: If you can't do that, then get behind the most viable candidate with the best odds of defeating Obama. Among likely voters voting against Obama (moderates, centrists, RINOs, Country-Club-Elitists, right-leaning dems, libertarians, conservatives, etc), that has consistently been the GOP candidate. As things stand right now, unless a miracle occurs at the convention that unfortunately means Romney is the leading candidate opposing Obama. And I'll constantly look at candidates right up to the moment I enter the voting booth. Whoever is running the best odds of beating Obama at that time, that's who I vote for.
GET OUT OF THE WAY: If you can't lead or follow, then you are mostly just whining & complaining with no effective purpose other than the appearance of desperately seeking some way to merely feel good about yourself. Thanks, Capt. Obvious, but this is Free Republic and everyone already knows Romney is a RINO. You're preaching to the choir. Since you are not an elected official, you can sit smug in your home comforted by the fact that you haven’t personally voted for laws that will provide abortions. But realise that you HAVE voted for people who have voted for laws that provide for abortions.
Even “pro-life” candidates have done so, for example federal medicaid law requires coverage for medically necessary abortions, which dictates the need for every state to cover abortions, say, to save the life of the mother. Those laws were passed with the votes of people who are considered pro-life, and I would bet at least one person you voted for voted for it.
George Bush signed laws each year which authorised medicaid spending, and I bet you voted for him. As your representative, he acts under your moral authority — are we to be blamed for what our representatives do? If so, again, you can certainly call Mitt Romney names, but your name-calling detracts from the serious issue regarding abortion, because if Mitt Romney is nothing more than a baby-killer, then we are all baby-killers, and nobody is culpable.
Religiously, we are all sinners; but in the practical world, we need distinctions and gradations of that evil in order to be “better” since we can’t be perfect.
BTW, you can’t claim not to judge others, when you publicly attack another person by calling them a baby-killer. That is a judgement.
