If History repeats itself, Obama is toast (Vanity)
June 12, 2012 | pistolpackinpapa

Posted on 06/12/2012 6:40:05 PM PDT by pistolpackinpapa

A guy was on Rush today and gave a statistic that even Rush was not aware of. While reading The World Almanac, about the 1956 American Presidential Election, he learned that 15 Presidents have been reelected and each one received MORE votes the second time around (when they ran for reelection) than they did in their first Election. That is a historical fact.

Now, we read, and/or hear, everyday that Obama is losing much of his 2008 base. The pundits are saying that the 2012 Race is going to be very, very close. Obama's poll numbers are abysmal. If the poll numbers hold up, and History does, in fact, repeat itself, Obama is toast.

If all those predictions are right then Romney will win. I definitely have Romney winning Virginia, but I am seriously not sure with Colorado...it was not very close last election. I am not sure about Iowa either....they flip back and forth all the time. Michigan has not gone GOP in decades upon decades. Wisconsin would be a surprise to me....I know that they picked Walker again but even Democrats found that recall ridiculous.

Agreed, we are being set up big time.

Whether it's a Hillary run, the zombie apocalypse, an even more likely bio-attack or some drummed up economic crisis, there's no way the socialists will give up power willingly.

If you haven't prepared, at least buy a shovel. You'll need it by December.

"... After careful consideration I have come to one conclusion: The Democrats will release the Toricelli sequel on or about August 15th, 2012."

You carefully considered the way the wind is blowing Democrat political fortunes around and you came up with the DNC replacing a sitting President Obama?

Kindly put me down as enormously skeptical of your sincerity on this point, friend.

I lived in MI for 10 years and I have tons of friends there. They tell me that no one is voting for Obama except a few “I was born and will die” Democrats and those in the Black Community. But, not as many Blacks as last time. They assure me, Michigan will go Republican this year.

Hey KG9 Kid, it could friggin’ happen. This guy has proven to be the worst President in modern history and even people in his own Party are starting to doubt his ability to win. (Sean Hannity / FOX TV: June 12, 2012) Couple that with the Fast and Furious scandal and the very, very serious “Leak-gate” we’ve got going on now....... Some Senate and House members said today, THIS IS WORSE THAN WATERGATE and the Pubbie powers that be, got Nixon (a sitting President) to step down over something that was silly compared to this scandal.

Prez dude is in real trouble, and to keep the White House, don’t you think for one minute they wouldn’t dump him and run her thighness. I’m telling you, Froggie is right. IT COULD HAPPEN!!!

IMHO, after nobama loses, the time between Nov 7, 2012 and Jan 21, 2013 will be a major test for our country.

nobama and his minions will try and do as much damage as possible during that time.

I think Hill would be crazy to pick up he nomination at this point. If there is as much animosity as I’d like to think there is, it will bleed to all other dems. Besides that, it will take her a solid four years or more to coil herself for a strike. A loss this year would reduce her to Algorian status. I predict Bill and Hill will let this one ride.

Maybe the dems will give ‘bam the boot. I could see them arranging a nice padded cell/office for him at the UN— it would assuage his ego with a ponderous title but stash someplace where he could do no further harm. The Clinton faction, I expect, would nominate some non-starter to fill the hole for the election so Bill/Hill could start the groundwork.

I expect Hill will climb on the stump around the middle of Romney’s 2nd year, and that will begin her campaign. Hill plays the long game; note how she’s endured her virtually meaningless role as Sec of State.

Don’t underestimate Romney. He, and his staff, are tough, hardball campaigners. He might have an October Surprise himself. Don’t forget: The Mormon Church is the biggest Genealogy group in America. Betcha anything they know where Obama was born and can document it and will release it via a third party in September or October.

Not sure a Pennsylvania. Fast Eddie has not been as compliant an obamabot as they would have liked.

‘bam’s troubles started when he got rid of the dancing master and Daley and gave the keys to ValJar. She’s PO’d all of the major players, or at least those with a shred of competency.

Come to think of it, I think they’ve even PO’d Soros.

They’ll never admit this, of course, but the love quotient seems to be running low.

Lots of Mormons in Colorado. Being Mormon doesn’t make one certain to vote for Romney but it certainly helps even the odds.

Could be.

But Hill will be close to 70 in 2016. Not a good thing.

I’m not LDS and I’m voting Rominy because the alternative is too horrible to sign on for. Romney may be a nightmare for us conservatives, but little barry bastard commie is the scare so bad you’re afraid to go back to sleep (I srtole that from a wise freeper; I forget who).

I forgot about that, but, you’re right. What percentage of CO do you think is Mormon?

Santorum would not have put PA in play, the guy is HATED here for good reason, he wasn’t sent packing by nearly 20 points for no reason folks.

Now, with that said, Romney will likely win PA.. in fact Romney will likely win MI as well.

There are only 2 rust belt states that Obama will carry.. MN and IL.

Obama has utterly alienated and disenfranchised the blue dog democrats that populate the rust belt. Now they aren’t going to all abandon him, but this is a HUGE voting block, and many of them have been utterly betrayed by the democrats and Obama and will not be voting for him in the fall.

The Blue Dogs don’t show up and vote hard for a Democrat, the democrat can’t win any state in the rust belt or south, and Obama and his administration have done everything in their power to spit in the face of this group.

There is no calculus where Obama wins re-election. In fact, I don’t see any way he gets over 42-43% of the national vote at best.

If Obama’s numbers are bad I seriously expect some type of Wag the Dog scenario. It will probably be some sort of air-strike against Iran or North Korea. The Marxist’s minions are imaginative; it could be some other target that will have more rah-rah effect and less long term implications... some sort of rescue mission. Bring home the old shoe.
