The removal of Obama by the left cannot be accomplished through fast and furious, citizenship nor any political maneuvers without causing disunity within the left. It will have to be a Gabrielle Giffords sort of ploy. One they would blame on the TEA party. Obama better stay out of Fort Marcy Park.

Speaking of that:

Obama took only a narrow majority here in a diehard small county in WV in 2008, which lower percentage itself was due to the prevailing anti-Obama mood from his known campaign statements.

Now that he has had 4 years to try to destroy the coal industry and the basis of the WV economy, people really hate him. Even the sitting Democrat Governor and Senator have let it be known they don't support him, so much so that the recent statewide Democrat Convention actually called on all officeholders to support the President of their own part!

When the literally unknown challenger won 42% of the vote against Obama in the May primary, there were actually 6 precincts in our county that gave a MAJORITY to the absolutely unknown challenger. (Important: the fact that he is a convict serving time in Alabama was NOT known until after the election.)

I'm certainly NOT suggesting that only Mormons will give Romney their vote (I'm not and I'm voting, like you, the alternative is just too awful to even consider).

I know of some Mormon Republicans who didn't particularly care for Romney but just like blacks in '08, given the choice of voting for "one of your guys" or "the other guy," many Mormons, especially if they are Republican will pull the lever for him.

Not sure of percentage but in my daughter's Ft. Collins neighborhood (once)practically the entire development was Mormon!

A lot like Catholics in days gone by, they settled around a Parish/School together so kids had friends from school, church, etc. to play together with and walk to school.

Everywhere my daughter has moved (now Boise suburb)her entire neighborhood, save a few are all Mormon. Her husband grew up in both Co. Springs and lived in Loveland, again neighbors all Mormon.

Viewing the map N,S,E & W of Utah, think Mormon Country.

I know Harry Reid is also Mormon (go figure) but he'd never be elected w/out Mormon votes.

Even if Obama was to win, I believe the mind-set of the country will be Conservative enough that he will have to deal with a Republican Senate and House and he will be hamstrung. He will have an impotent second term.

To vote for a dude who espouses killing babies and same-sex marriage, that tells me Mormons’ morality is a mile wide and an inch deep.

Exactly right.

People don't like to hear this, but strategy-wise, it's better to have a hog-tied Obama in office, rather than a liberal stealth Democrat like Romney, who a Republican Congress will roll over for.

It's Art of War 101, but most people are simply too frightened of Zero to understand it. They're going to vote in the one guy who really can cement Zero's leftist agenda in place. Zero himself has no chance of doing that, because the opposition on the right will be too overwhelming to overcome. In fact, Zero would be lucky to survive a second term at all.
