All the railing and vitriol is moot. This could never even stand as an Article of Impeachment since there was never a Constitutionally defined penalty for being elected without meeting the citizenship requirement.

If the truth is ever discovered, it will only be for the sake of posterity and possibly to bring legislation to correct these eligibility issues that should have been addressed in the 25th Amendment.

Frankly, that is pretty much where I stand on it. I actually said, before the election, that the birther thing was kind of a waste of time because unless you could absolutely prove it to the american people with a smoking gun, it was just too complicated for anyone to really pay attention to. Hence it was a waste of time. Kinda like being a federal income tax protester. You may be right but good luck convincing a judge or jury that you’re right
