Watching President Obama flop around like a fish out of water, careening from gaffe to desperation to dishonesty, I find myself searching for ways to put his troubling behavior into historic perspective.
Is this The Unmaking of a President? Or is it The Unmasking? Perhaps we are witnessing an American Tragedy. Or maybe we’re seeing final proof his election was The Great Mistake.
All those fit the facts, and lead to a shared conclusion. So far, the 2012 election has almost nothing to do with Mitt Romney. Even the GOP doesn’t love its choice, but the race is a dead heat because Obama is so disappointing.
His fall from grace does more than merely confirm the conventional wisdom that elections are a referendum on the incumbent. Notwithstanding White House efforts to make the race about something or someone else, Obama remains the straw that stirs the drink.
But what a strange straw he is. Far stranger than we knew.
The man who campaigned against the “torture” of war prisoners boasts of killing suspects while taking no prisoners. He called rising debts “un-American” before setting a new record for borrowing. He railed against the imperial presidency before stretching it beyond recognition. The former law-school instructor tried to bully the Supreme Court.

The answer can be summed up in four words. An affirmative action president.
There is word to describe him, but I can’t use it here.
He is a communist dictator wannabe.

Let’s start with Barack Hussein Obama. If that doesn’t send up red flags I don’t know what would. In 4 years he managed to alienate our only ally in the Middle East and destroy every Arabic country that had a smodicum of stability.
His career was launched by Marxists. The same Marxists now in his administration as paid advisors who did not get vetted by congress. Czars...
His first pick to handle this country’s finances was a tax cheat. His financial advisors ran the banks that the tax payers bailed out, the same advisors who were his largest bundlers. His most trusted financial advisor is under indictment.
His energy policy is premised on a technology that doesn’t work, financed by taxpayer money and implemented by his bundlers who took the money and ran.
Who is Barack Hussein Obama?
This is only the tip of the iceberg. And where is the media to protect us and inform us? In bed with the administration.

Obama is dumber than donuts.
He may be dumber than donuts but he knows how to divide, lie, cheat, bully, and steal elections...
Plus the fact that he hates whitey, old people and America, and I'd say that makes him -- very dangerous.
I’m not sure about historical perspective, but the president’s behavior is not unprecedented.
It’s just common narcissism, and the double standards that infect the Godless people who reject absolute Truth.

Better to say, perhaps; that Obama railed against 'an' imperial presidency; and then made it one. On the 'law-school' instructor; we know Obama, knows not nor cares not, for our 'Rule of Law'; nor our Constitution that frames it.
We do know that Obama is an accomplished community organizer; and that law-school' was not his forte; albeit he graduated. (Would easily bet, that Obama cheated grandly on his Bar exams. He errs repeatedly, on his 'legal and Constitutional assumptions and pronouncements.) We know the the 'thrust' of his legal teachings; were a 'how to' per circumventing the law; and our Constitution. And of course; at that; President Obama; has been an exemplary teaching model.
We know too; he did not try and bully our Supreme Court. Obama; in his inescapable arrogance of ignorance; did so, very publicly. We can be certain, that Obama, so as to not fail his goals; would not hesitate to intimidate, again. Can only imagine; what might 'befall'; should Obama assume license, by a continued Presidency.
This is a good article; a good 'prong' for many who have yet to feel one by way of the 'who/what' of Obama.
Just thinking after three years; he deserves the thrust of a 'full fork' of honesty. Or, rather, we do.

Of all places there was an article in Esquire in the summer of 2009 foretelling much of what has happened. It was a disaster then and it is worse now.
Now I don’t usually read Esquire but last night I was searching for some commentary on oblabla’s insanity, his narcissism and what that could become when he is cornered and, let us pray, defeated. Here is the link to the article. You may find it interesting though there were many others at the time and in 2008 trying to warn as many as would listen but it was too late. I wonder if oblabla isn’t the crisis of the fourth turning? Could we get off this “easy”?

Think about it. Jack Kennedy told us we were going to the moon, but he gave us a decade to do it, which might as well be a century, the way we look at politics today. Bill Clinton came into office wanting to do everything, but he chose to try to do everything one thing at a time. His opponents realized that if they could jam him on the early stuff — health care, certainly, but before that, gays in the military — they could gum up his whole agenda until he began to trip over his own dick, figuratively and otherwise. They forced a small-scale presidency on a man desperately in love with big ideas until he said “The era of big government is over” in front of Congress because it was more dignified than saying “uncle.” If nothing else can be said of Barack Obama’s first days in office, it can be said that what Clinton said about big government was at best considerably premature. The sudden reemergence of big government left all the people who’d built their careers on what they perceived was its grave — and there are nearly as many Democrats about which this can be said as there are Republicans — scrambling to dust off arguments that they never thought they’d have to use again. (”Socialism!” hasn’t gotten this kind of workout since the death of Robert Taft.) They may never catch up with the sheer velocity of what they’re trying to stop. The received wisdom was that big government was clumsy and moved too slow. Obama has turned that wisdom on its head. Big government is now too fast and agile for the people who want it to die. They can’t get a clear shot at it anymore.

What frightens me most about all of this is Socialism/Fascism/Marxism is a parasitic form of government. It eats away at the very fabric of society until all that are left are the dictators, party members and then the rest of us.
Unfortunately, once the virus takes firm hold of the host, the only way to stop it is to kill the host. There is no medicine to take.
Americans are betting that Romney is the cure for the virus, when all he really is is another strain that may or may not put the host into remission until something stronger can be injected into the host.
This is why Conservatism is the only solution. The virus killed Palin, Bachman, Cain, Santorum and Perry. It’s as if the media is the CDC and they let something out of the lab.

The analogy to a cancer is appropriate. You don’t reform a cancer, you kill it. Unfortunately, like a cancer, Marxism blends in to the healthy host and like a cancer you hope you kill the cancer first without killing the host in the process.
Yes, Romney is probably just a speed bump. Just like in cancer therapy, you need to support life until you may be able to go for a cure. Romney may at least change the rate of headlong momentum. You don’t reverse until you stop and you don’t stop until you slow down do you?
Obama, and/or his handlers, did something very smart this week. And we all fell for it; well, at least a huge number of us.
Obama was reeling from the very bad press about the economy and the high unemployment, and his clueless statement about “the private sector is doing fine”. So, he needed to change the conversation, and he did.
So, issuing an executive edict to allow a certain group of illegals to remain in the country, was a very smart move, and, the main topic of conversation in the last 3 days, has been that “executive order”. The economy and the unemployment rate, are distant second or third topics.
Obama and his people are either very smart, or we are all very stupid.

Well, don't know about stupid; he IS uneducated, however; despite his carrying off a degree; (perhaps, literally. . .) and we do know he is lazy. Best thing for Obama; is that he has a fantastic 'power job' whereby; he does not have to think. . .only 'report' - and play golf.
