(The Hill) -- Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) warned Republican House members not to to celebrate if the Supreme Court rules against the healthcare law.
"There will be no spiking of the ball," he wrote in a memo to the conference. "Republicans are focused on the economy We will not celebrate at a time when millions of our fellow Americans remain out of work."
The memo came after a tense morning when the Supreme Court could have issued its ruling, but did not.
The next possible day for a decision is Monday, June 25. Justices could also issue a ruling later next week.

Hey Jonnie your one of the reasons the Republicans are called
“The Stupid Party”. Find some Balls man.
GLOATING!
Spike the ball AND say told ya so...then introduce repeal if every aspect of this disaster.
No celebrating my azz.
Actually, that doesn't happen at all---see 2010 for many examples. But that is the spew the media and beltway "consultants," like Rover, want you to swallow.
FUJB!
No, Boehner is absolutely correct: there should be no celebrating/gloating.
What there needs to be is serious commentary and resolve that SCOTUS made the correct decision in protecting the Constitution and our Republic. We can expect the Left to to thermonuclear over this: OUR job is to protect the integrity of the Court as they continue and expand their attempts to tear it down. I believe that this decision only marks the latest chapter in this fight. Celebrating/gloating plays right into our enemies’ hands.
The main word here is IF
Are they allowed to go before cameras and cry?

Im having cake.
....and eating it too!!!!
Just like McCain. Don’t want to upset the Democrats. If only we had a party of do rather than “why can’t we just get along”? This is scary and there are no Republicans anymore. They’re all just a bunch of wimpy hand wringing cowards.
Fireworks in my driveway. Boner not invited.
these people decide elections because a good deal of so called “conservatives” are too damn busy to go to the polls and vote.... when I hear a cheer because voter turnout was 50%, it turns my stomach...
"Republicans are focused on the economy"
Try "focusing" on getting the illegitimate Kenyan out of office and restoring our constitution.
The main reason the economy sucks IS BECAUSE THE F'N GOVERNMENT WON'T LEAVE THE MARKETPLACE ALONE!!!
Perhaps the pols in Washington shouldn’t be celebrating, but the rest of us definitely should.
It will be extremely important that liberals get the message that they were wrong to even attempt this overstep, this egregious usurpation of power and process-this blatant violation of our constitution.
It’s not only what was done, but how it was done. It was a dirty deed, and if it’s overturned, schadenfraude will be justified.
Since Obamacare was the major thrust in what has been a liberal blitzkrieg on the private sector, the Supreme Court’s ruling could be as momentous for those of us in the private sector as the liberation of Paris was for the French in WW2. Many who own businesses won’t think I’m exaggerating.
I think this would be a time to resurrect the great tea-party gatherings of the past. I was there when Nancy Pelosi carried that gavel accross the mall, and I’d like to be there again just to yell and scream at her.
It would feel really good.
Oops, the Pelosi march was across the Capitol grounds, not the mall.
I will celebrate to be sure. I will celebrate even more if my insurance rates go back down to where they were before Soetorocare was passed. I won’t be holding my breath on that one, though.
