Eric Cantor Already Scheduled House Vote on ObamaCare's FULL REPEAL
Reaganite Republican ^ | June 28, 2012 | Reaganite Republican

First week after August recess...

Obama and his congressional minions swore back in 2008/09 'you will not see your taxes increase one single dime'- and they never would have got this leviathan passed on the Hill had they been even slightly more honest about it.

So consider this- some (like former AG Alberto Gonzales) even think Roberts/SCOTUS just handed the election to Romney- as the Court cannot be labelled as biased to the Right now -no way- and the truth has at long-last come out: ObamaCare is the largest tax increase in the history of the US -nay, the world.

This is good: Eric Cantor has already scheduled a House vote sot that all the congressional reps can stand up and say whether they support the biggest tax increase ever... or not. Trouble for them is, all the ones who did help pass it in the first place said it wasn't. How very inconvenient for them... just two months prior to the election. If anything can inspire the TEA Party to 2009's level of energy and protest, this might be it- and last time we got out there and fought, the Dems got trounced.

We'll have to wait a couple months for that spectacle... as for today, pop some popcorn and watch Eric Witholder get put on the grill, that'll take the wind out of the Bolshevik Boy Wonder's sails...

BTW, Fox just reported that Mitt Romney took-in $1M in donations since 11am already...

Then it will show the people the importance of getting a Republican majority in the Senate this fall.

Problem is it doesn’t kick in until 2014 so the public will not be feeling its effects till after the election

The GOP has to show how much of an impact it will be with numbers in their campaign ads

The Liberals and the media know it was a lie and if anyone was fooled, well then tough snot.

Yeah well I didn't see anybody posting here that it was really a tax and I don't remember any conservative talk show host or GOP presidential candidate call it that Unless my memory is bad

“I hate to bust your dream of repeal.
But this is just a “show” vote.

It would have to pass the senate, which it won’t
and then be signed by Zero.

Good luck on that.’

Uh, that’s not exactly a revelation... I guess you didn’t bother to read the post?

Everybody knows that. The idea is make Dems VOTE FOR a TAX INCREASE they told us didn’t exist... 2 mos before the election

The Dems told every town hall they held ‘NO TAX INCREASE’... smart for the GOP to haul ‘em out on the carpet now, no?

If Cantor was for real he would refuse to fund Obama care. The Republicans control the House and could do it. They are full of ____.

Agreed, but I’m going to support him when he DOES do something right... like this time

Now you are talking the real truth.

Unfortunately, they won’t hold the line to defund it.
After all, that would mean fighting the RATS.

“Such a vote is a waste of time and money designed to give cover to some RINOS and ride anger to Romney’s benefit.”

It will also give Moderate RATS a chance to vote for it, as well. U know, the RATS who are in a tight election in 2012.
So it gives cover for these RATS, as well.

People in NJ don't care how many times Lautenberg and Menendez vote to raise their taxes. Menendez is up for re-election, watch what they do.

And you think having this show vote, where moderate RATS
in tight races are going to vote against it?
No, they will vote to repeal, as well. So, where does that
gain an advantage in the election?

And the Senate. Maybe if you write a nice letter to Dirty
Harry, he will bring it up for a vote in the Senate.

I’d like to change the name of the upcoming vote in the house from repealing Obamacare to:

The Incumbent Protection Vote.

Doesn’t matter if you are a RAT or RINO.
You can vote against Obamacare and use it in your campaign.
And help yourself remain an entrenched DC Incumbent.

I think the House of Representatives should bring this up for a vote, pass it and send it over to the Senate every 2 weeks. Let the country watch the Senate Dems vote it down every 2 weeks til the election.

Maybe he will write a letter in all caps to show he really means it.

Many here were accused of belonging to the tinfoil hat crowd, there is no joy in having been right about these traitors. Now that Roberts has revealed himself, don’t it just make you feel all good inside, that he is so young.

Bushites should be really proud.

God help us, for surely there is none other.

Showboating isn’t relevant,if we get used to a Republican party that passes symbolic measures then we’ll get more of the same when they hold the Senate and the House.Leave the political circus to the Liberals.

The whole healthcare thing is based on the European model,it is practiced in Japan and in .the former British colonies.Neither Japan or Europe can afford it,I doubt Canada will have much more luck with the NHS.

In the short term, the Republicans will take the Senate and the House. It is unlikely that Europe or California will stop sinking into the abyss of their own making. At such it is not a viable lifestyle to copy.

Empty gestures at this point mean nothing, there is a need for leadership that is willing to change things in a way that affects people on the street not just the perceptions of those who follow the news.

He knows it isn't going to lead to repeal, it is to put the Rep's on record.

The Democrats now have to defend a massive new tax.

And which democrats are going to defend it?
The ones in safe democrat districts. Yes.

The democrats in moderate districts (the ones we are trying to beat) will vote for repeal.

So where do we gain the political advantage?
