Dick Morris: Obama to Sign UN Gun-Grab Treaty and RAM IT DOWN OUR THROATS
Reaganite Republican ^ | July 18, 2012 | Reaganite Republican

But the Senate will never ratify, you say?

Guess what, they don't need to...

Speaking on Fox and Friends this morning, Dick Morris explained that when the US signs such an international treaty, the nation is bound until the Senate rejects it or the President renounces it. In just nine days from now, the terms of this treaty will be finalized.

Morris went on to say that this heinous agreement -which would in-affect repeal the the Second Amendment and deny us all of the divine right to self-defense- will likely be signed by Obama... then Harry Reid will simply never bring it up for a vote, keeping the ATT treaty in-effect.

Then, if Dear Leader actually manages to win a second term and continues with his ongoing date-rape of this country, he will of course never renounce it, either... meaning we're stuck with it for a minimum of 4.5 years, in which time they'd be able to assault your Second Amendment gun rights relentlessly... a fait acompli

What to do?

Sign this White House petition, which can be loosely translated as "From My Cold, Dead Hands!"... -here-

The Senate MUST RATIFY a treat before it becomes law, Dick.

“I hope Obama realizes and is ready for what he is about to unleash.”

He both realizes, and doesn’t care.

A narcissistic, sociopathic tyrant like Obama does not have the capacity to realize that there are other people. There is only him, and a bunch of objects out in the periphery that he needs to manipulate to get what he wants. The fact that these objects look like human beings is of no fundamental interest to him except that it dictates how they have to be manipulated. Ultimately, on a human level, he cares not a wit for anyone in the entire world - even his friends and family - except in terms of what they can do for him, how they might thwart his wishes, and exactly how they have to be manipulated in either instance.

The idea that he cares a rap about this country or the people of this country in any real sense is laughable. Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler - perhaps a bit of shallow sentimentality from time to time, but no real, human understanding of the suffering and damage they caused, even while millions died in agony, and many more lived in terror and suffering.

England never had troops going house to house to lose their right to arms. They lost it gradually, bit by bit, through regulation. This essay explains it fairly well:

GUN REGISTRATION IS GUN CONFISCATION

Consider the government can ban the sale and ownership of ammunition at any time. Without ammunition, what good are the firearms?

Obama will never sign such a document BEFORE the next election. He’s a libtard, but isn’t totally brain-dead when it comes to his political survival.

That is my thought as well. For the sake of discussion let's assume for the moment that he understands the potential impact on his re-election and may still move forward. It would mean that he is not concerned about re-election and has other plans. The possibilities are extremely chilling and I begin to feel like a paranoid conspiracy theorist when I think this way. So what are options?

1. He is an even bigger idiot that we think and will do it believing that it won't be an issue in the election.

2. He knows it will be an election issue, but in his supreme arrogance believes he can spin the enough of electorate in such a way as to persuade them that it is for their own good to give up the fundamental right to bear arms as well as the independence and sovereignty of the United States. It is sad to say, but he might be right on that one.

3. He is planning to withdraw from the race. The only Democrat alternative at this point would be Hillary who, despite her current more populist image, is Obama's ideological doppelgänger. In the ensuing hubbub over his withdrawal and her entry in the race, the noise about this treaty would simply fade away, thanks to an obsequious press.

4. He intends to find some pretense to postpone or suspend the election altogether.

I cannot think of another alternative. In the first case the American people wake up and send the guy packing back to Chicago with his tail between his legs. In the second and third cases the only real solution is to ensure that we take the Senate back. And not with spineless RINOs, but with conservative patriots who will stand against socialist/communist encroachment regardless of who occupies the White House. Overcoming the fourth alternative is, shall we say, a bit more ominous.

I feel sorry for the cops and other law enforcement out there. They’ll take the brunt of it.

They'll have a choice.

They will either resign their positions, turn in their badges and credentials, and resist tyranny as private citizens ...

OR

become "domestic enemies" of these United States.

One worrying sign is that these sort of UN negotiations are public, as were these

That is UNTIL the NRA stared showing-up... the ATT treaty negotiations have since been conducted IN SECRET

It’s ready for signing in just 9 days from now... seems to me the time for alarm would be now

The military is not bound to obey illegal orders, tho... and Obama will have certainly violated his oath of office if this goes down

They have a third choice "resign in place" and become intelligence assets for the resistance. It is a very dangerous choice, but very effective.

What will simply happen is that people will hide their guns, PERIOD.

If the government is coming to take your guns, it's time for you to remember why you have them in the first place. The 2nd Amendment isn't about duck hunting.

In that case they kinda were [child rapists]. That is why they were able to get away with it.

Really? How do you know they were? Because the government put out press releases accusing them of being child rapists? That is the whole point - the government can accuse anyone of anything to justify their actions, and the sheep simply respond, "Oh, they might be child rapists? Well, I guess it's cool if you send in armored vehicles and burn them all to the ground, then."

The military might not confiscate but the ATF,FBI,
DHS etc... will declare any resistance terrorism and
their agents will have no problem committing murder
to eradicate those nasty domestic terrorist. This
will really dirty and bloody if the agents forsake their
oaths to the Constitution and simply “follow orders
and just do their jobs” like the guards said at Nuremburg.

After touching a hot stove, most learn from that experience. After seeing someone touch a hot stove, others learn not to do the same. The Branch Dividian incident happened in 1992? Twenty years is a long time. Social media reporting didn’t really exist. They might have a harder time controlling the story.
We can learn from the flash mobs. But we are dependent on state controlled communication that can be flicked off at a moments notice.
I have no clue how Americans will react. I have no clue if the county sheriffs, local police, national guard would obey if a out of control president gave them questionable orders.

The military is not bound to obey illegal orders, tho.

[Having run out of Other Peoples Money, the Feds] are a toothless tiger now, though it doesn’t mean they will not cause at least SOME pain.

So true all of them. Except the assumption that the military won't fire on armed civvies, esp. those resisting authority during a "crisis"---even if they're sympathetic. May I remind you of 9/10 and 9/11 and 9/12?

On 9/10, FreeReplublic and WallStreet and the Feds had NO IDEA what was about to happen to the country. Even Alex Jones could not have envisioned the TSA on 9/10 and if he had, EVERYONE would have told him "that's impossible in Texas, etc."

On 9/11, Lt. Heather Penney is considered a hero today because she was considering downing a civilian plane full of Americans. When TSHTF and chaos reigns, the military will fall back on discipline and duty--as they should! And they will. The next "crisis will not go to waste."

On 9/12, FR was up, but it was a jumbled mess of repeated nonsense from the MSM. Next time as listenhill says, the gov can shut down the internet and turn on the (now fed controlled) Emerg Broadcast System and let Big Sis take the mike and tell us what is "happening" and what we "must do."

When the next Waco's start happening, if FR or FB or twitter became a tool being used against the feds, they'd just ZOT it. Then we can sue them for violating the 1st amendment! Yippee!

I did a good deal of research on Koresh after the fact. The government was smart. They picked someone that it was hard to stand behind.
