I didn’t do the graph, it came from the FBI with help from Wired magazine. Victims per 1000 is the data that matters. How many at the same time is just details, the important part is that 20 years into the age of the first person shooter you’re less than half as likely to be the victim of violent crime, ANY violent crime, than you were before Doom shipped.
