“Soul crushing blows”? The author of this sounds a little bit dramatic and liberal herself. I’d be stoned by the left and the right for all the soul crushing blows I’ve inflicted. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to live with the fact that I’m the only non-perfect parent out there—well, me and the boy/pigeon reincarnation mom.
