Crist to back Democrat Nelson in Florida

Via the Tampa Bay Times, former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist - widely seen as a potential future candidate for the job, only as a Democrat - is backing Sen. Bill Nelson in his Florida Senate race.

Crist will attend a fundraiser with Bill Clinton - who famously tried to get Kendrick Meek to bow out of the three-way U.S. Senate race in 2010 so Crist could win, and caucus with Democrats.

It's not exactly hard to see Crist making it formal at some point, if he does run

Of course Politico wouldn’t mention the name Jim Greer.
http://www.cfnews13.com/content/news/cfnews13/news/article.html/content/news/articles/cfn/2012/7/30/jim_greer_case_secre.html?cid=rss
“Greer, in the deposition, said it was all done with the approval of then Governor Charlie Crist. “

Greer faces trial in November on federal charges of money laundering and grand theft in connection with money he obtained from his secret involvement in a company that handled fundraising for the party in 2009.

But Holder wouldn’t allow any quid pro quo at the Democrat DOJ...

From The Tampa Times: U.S. Rep. Connie Mack IV of Fort Myers has the famous name, the endorsements, the PAC money — and questionable work habits, a sense of entitlement and an undistinguished record in Congress. Former U.S. Rep. Dave Weldon of Indialantic is a long shot, but he has more experience in Congress, a stronger record of accomplishments and a reputation as a more serious-minded lawmaker.

Dr. Dave Weldon is the hard worker and the true conservative. Plus, he's my doctor.

There is NOTHING BETTER for the Tea Party than to have Charlie Crist keep running around Florida trying to snag-back some power.

It just keeps reminding us just how important we were to KEEP HIM OUT OF THE SENATE. I doubt anyone respects him, and that includes the Democrat base.
