2016: Obama's America Movie Review - The Focus on One Hyphenated Word

Obama has been called a Marxist,a Socialist,and a Communist among other Things,but one thing you cant call him is an American,That is what I took from the Movie.

That's what I took away from the movie, too. I think D'Souza was masterful, subtle and clever by bracketing the movie with the introduction of himself and BO as having many characteristics in common. Though he repeats the narrative from Dreams From My Father ("born in Hawai'i") in a deadpan sort of way, what resonated with me, after having seen the film, was the underlying statement (more shown than told): "We are both immigrants. We have a common background. But here are our vastly differing views on America and its future."

Yes, they are both immigrants. D'Souza to BO: "fellow immigrant..." -- yes, he's subtle.

I was surprised how neutral it was. It was not a hit piece whatsoever.

It was pretty dry and factual, which I think is exactly what's needed to reach out to undecided viewers.

I wonder why it is that when I see a notification that I have mail it mostly consists of my own posted comments, not responses thereto.

Lies the anti-colonialist; anti-exceptionalism; anti-American
an angry black man
Masquerading as a healer
he rather perversely divides while
perpetrating a massive fraud on America.
