Another update on my sister Barb and prayer request.
God be with you, your sister, family and friends in this very difficult time.
Praying that the Lord Will Hold Y’All close (He Will). Even though we can’t foresee or understand (we’re only looking through a keyhole), His Way is perfect.
God Bless you & your family, Rebel.
Mega prayers for you and your family. We are living this hell also with my dad. God’s love and comfort to you and your sister.
Praying hard for Barb, your family, and the intentions you listed.
Prayers up for the entire family.
I’m so sorry!
I’m so sorry. Spend every minute with her.
Prayers her way...
A humble Prayer for mercy and peace...
I'm looking for: a) miracle b) God's will c) reduction of suffering (in so many ways) d) strength, courage and unification for our immediate family e) my mother, who is devastated by this f) my brother-in-law, who is of course upset but also has his own heart-health issues (he is 13 years older than she) g) my nieces (17), who have seemed nonchalant about all this but I know they have feelings - and that they will not be "ruined" by all this in their last year of high school and life h) my nephew (25 on Sunday - another scary thing about birthdays possibly coinciding this month), who is a sweetheart and sensitive about his mom but may need more strength than we all realize
Please PLEASE pray for Barb and OILine's family..
Prayers for your beloved sister. May God hold her hand all the time....
I am so sorry to hear about your sister. Prayers going up for her.
Whatever God’s will be for Barb I pray for mercy, relief of pain and strength for everyone. Prayers up.
Prayers on the way. God bless.
I earnestly join in your prayers for your sister and family!
Geez... so sad. Prayers up for sure. Wow.
I’m so very sorry. Prayers up for Barb and family. (hugs)
I pray that you are blessed with peace, strength and the resolve to do what you must during this time. God bless your sister, she is living what she loves until her last. Prayers for her children and others who may have difficulty with her passing. I pray that God sends many angels to guide all through this journey of grief and joy in remembering Barb.
Praying for your whole family.
I’m praying for Barb and your family. I am so sorry. You were wise and good to stay with her.
So sorry to read of this. Cancer took my youngest uncle (54) five years ago. He has 3 young children. One was in high school when he died, the other 2 were a few years older. They have bravely gone forward to become productive young people but we know they are forever changed by this loss of their earthly rock of stability. The grace they show in going on is amazing. He said in the essay he wrote to be read at his funeral “Cancer didn’t beat me, it just walked me home to Jesus.”
Heavenly Father, I pray that you grant Barb your healing power and help her regain her strength to win this battle against this awful disease. If it is not your will, I pray that you comfort Barb, free her from suffering and bring her peacefully home to you. I pray you comfort her all her family, her Mom and Dad, her sister, her husband and her children and assure them Barb is on her way to a much better place with you and our Savior. In Jesus name, Amen.
In Jesus Name...
Rough time for you, I’ve been there. Be strong. I’ll be praying for you and your family.
Prayers all around.
So sorry to hear this...may her suffering lessen. Prayers for her, you and your entire family. What a dreadful ordeal for all to go through.
Dear Heavenly Father, We pray to You for our sister, Barb. Lord, please heal her. If Your will is not to heal, then we pray for comfort. We also pray that her family feel Your love and presence with them. May the family come together as one strong unit to face this cross that they must bare. In This I Pray. Amen.
Prayers lifted FRiend, for your sister Barb and for you all. May God’s comfort strengthen and surround you all in this heartbreaking time.
Dear Lord, hear our humble prayer.
My sister has died.
I thank you for your marvelous support. We were all there for her, and a friend of hers later pointed out to us a wonderful 100% semicircular rainbow out her front door.
Tomorrow is her son’s birthday. I’m glad it didn’t quite coincide.
Please pray for her children, her husband, and my mother, especially. We all need to unify.
God bless you all!
Granny, I am starting a thread. Was his FR “name” just “Waco”, or was it longer? I don’t want to get it wrong. Look for it and you can correct me if I’m wrong. I’m at home right now but need to go back to my parents’ house as soon as I finish.
Thank you, he was only known as “Waco” as he joined FR at the time of Ruby Ridge story (tragedy)
Absolutely, prayers for all!
I’m sorry. At least you know that Barb is without pain now, and her spirit is in perfect health. Take heart that her soul is near. My prayers will now be for her family.
OLRebel, Now is a time for business to be taken care of, a time for public mourning. Later will come the memory- sharing and private mourning. You will all cry over losing the one you love so much. Your memories will sustain you and you will always hold those in your heart as you look forward to seeing her again....and you will see her again. Each family member will mourn in their own way. Your parents will be broken for a while, but will eventually know that life has to go on, but in a different way. Her children will be angry because she left them, but they too will go on with life because they must. Barb will never be forgotten and love can never die. When you think of her years from now, your heart will hurt and a tear will cloud your eyes. But you will remember the good times and be thankful for the years and the gift of her life that God gave to you.
My son passed away in 1979 and I thought I would never feel again, but I did. My life was changed in many ways and God surprised me with so many blessings. I know I will see him again. It comforts me.
May you and your family know the blessed assurance that trust in the Lord can bring to you. No need to doubt Him. The world is cursed and we know pain and suffering, but God is perfect and lifts us in ways we can’t even think of. Tell your mother that God did not cause Barb to have cancer, but he took her out of the pain of it to a much better place.
My continued prayers for all your family.
Thank you, Nan, for the lovely advice.
You are much correct, of course.

Eternal rest grant her, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
Prayers sent my dear.
Lord Jesus Christ, be near Barb as her hour of trial is near.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
I’m so very sorry. May God bless you & your family.
Prayers for you and your dear sister.
I hate hear about your sister. Prays from here. But with nothing else left I would recommend what OldNavyVet says about sodium bicarbonate. Additionally you could try topical magnesium chloride, nascent iodine, and maybe B17 from apricot seeds. Also lots of Spirulina for detox.
So many of your friends are praying for Barb with you. I add my prayers for her healing, for her comfort, for peace. My sister has just been diagnosed with cancer—no word on what kind, etc., but we are all afraid and heartbroken as your family has been.
I feel for you all, and may God bless and protect you all.
