Romney/Ryan or Bust! If you don't vote Romney this Nov. then you will be casting a vote for Obama

“Truth is the new hate speech.”—“Creeping Sharia”

“We [the people] own this country.”—Clint Eastwood

I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of “WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a “Reichstag Fire,” false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,“or words to that effect.

My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these days—what with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.

Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimist—I hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired in—but I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.

Be that as it may—the main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the “Dark Side.” I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

Your response indicates a very profound misunderstanding of the American political system. What you describe and what you intend to do on election day is a manifestation of the European system. Multiple factions are provided with representation in the legislative branch which serves to mollify the peasants and guarantees the balance of power in the hands of the elite who govern in their own best interests.

This is the system that the Democrats aspire to visit upon America. You will help them do this and they will be more than happy to give you a few seats in the Congress to make you think that your voice is being heard. Your voice may indeed be heard, but the power will be elsewhere and you will not like the results of the exercise of that power.

We have a two party system that has been proven over time to be superior to any system of government ever devised on this planet. You don’t like it, because it requires that the majority rally around a compromise candidate in order to deny power to the radical elite. Your political purity approach gave us Clinton twice and Obama once and may well give us Obama once again. This is not a liberal country, they can only win through the ignorance and stupidity of the ideological conservative purists.

The ball is in your court. Choose your next move wisely.

Otherwise Obamacare will become law... and you might as well kiss America goodbye.

Bad news...Obamacare IS law. Nobody is going to repeal it. The political class have already taken the bribes. The new government workers are being hired. The businesses that are going to profit from it have paid their dues. No politician is going to repeal it. Even IF it were possible to get the repeal through the house and senate then Romney still wouldn't sign it.

It's a done deal. Game over. We lose.

It has nothing to do with "self righteousness" or "nose in the air".

If I lived in Florida I would hold my nose and vote Romney. Are you happy now? Please, take your personal insults elsewhere. Stick to the subject matter.

You can vote for whomever suits you best. I won't complain. But I will tell you, the GOP has lost me now for good. No more walking door-to-door voter precincts for me. No phone calls, no money, nothing.

get NOTHING from me.

If that doesn't suit anybody else, then too bad.

I'm not going to fall in line and be a good little Toby. They can kiss my grits.

How does the “United States of America” win with another term for Mr. Obama, unrestrained and free to do his worst? Remember, all the fiascoes, usurptations, fascism and wealth redistribution so far have come from an Obama White House that wanted re-election. If they gain that, what's to stop them from making over this nation into Venezuela writ large? I don't see anything.

Yes, in fact I do believe it more possible that Mitt would yield to pressure from the Tea Parties than that Obama would. It stinks to have to be in a clamoring contest for control of a silly putty president. But that beats a rigid dogmatic Marxist any day.

Most definitely

During the general election debates for ‘12 POTUS, I will be very surprised, if Barack Obama doesn’t go after Mitt Romney, over and over again, on RomneyCare and its many similarities with ObamaCare. Any detailed differences between ObamaCare and RomneyCare will be ignored by many of the general public, because the differences will be too difficult for the majority of the general public to, fully, follow.-Barack Obama knows this, already!

I think...should obama, by some weird happenstance get a second term....I think it is time the GOP took the credit. They don’t provide decent candidates anymore..they continuously push these rinos and pro choice in sheeps clothing candidaes. I’m just about fed up...I’d change parties but I don’t know which one to go to. But you can bet I’m looking...this will probably be the last election I’m registered Republican.

I agree. And for all those who try to justify not voting for RR by “I’m voting down ticket”. That’s really stopped Mr Executive Order so far, hasn’t it? Wake up people.

Besides, Romney is a gazillion times worser than Obama.

Nothing could...

Nevermind.

Zero is a thousand times worse for the economy and defense.

You are dismissed as myopic socon who can’t think for himself, but gets his thinking from a book that knows nothing about political realities and some windbag guy in a pulpit who knows jack about fiscal matters.

BTW, I’m Catholic and pro-life, but that’s not the important issue at the moment.

In the criminal justice system in the USA someone can be convicted of murder without ever having directly killed anyone.

Someone who hires a hitman is guilty of conspiracy to commit murder.

Abortion is responsible for over 50 million murders of our most vulnerable.

It takes a conspiracy of massive magnitude to accomplish a slaughter on this scale.

I submit that all those who vote for a pro choice candidate are guilty of conspiracy to commit murder in Gods criminal justice system.

I cannot cross that line without implicating myself.

I believe those who dismiss such concerns hold a very profound misunderstanding of the eternal ramifications of their endorsement which outweighs any short term worldly consequences.

Eternal verses temporary.

I fully understand our political system and the choice being out before me.

I cannot have that innocent blood on my hands even if the world burns.
