Truth is the new hate speech.Creeping Sharia
We [the people] own this country.Clint Eastwood
I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a Reichstag Fire, false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,or words to that effect.
My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these dayswhat with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.
Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimistI hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired inbut I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.
Be that as it maythe main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the Dark Side. I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

The abr crowd makes me sick. A bunch Of psychos
I’m votin’ for Joe Blow to teach those dang Republicans a lesson, even though he doesn’t stand a chance of beating Obama. Besides, Romney is a gazillion times worser than Obama.
I’m in CA. I’m voting to let Romney know that I’ll vote to throw his ass out too if he screws up. I’m voting Libertarian. BUT- if I lived in a battleground state I’d vote for Romney.
Yeah, like math so honestly and simply suggested takes place under Cook County Thuggery.
You forgot to add the dead,
the multiple votes,
the busloads of bussed in homeless,
and whomever else is ‘added’ to the ballot box after the polls close.
You would be surprised how many registered voters there are that outnumber the actual population in any one area controlled by Democrats.
Are you noticing all the ads Obama is running in CA? I wonder why they feel the need to shore that up.
Oh yeah, and don’t forget, showing ID at the voting booth disenfranchises minority voters.
This people have no clue what time it is.
Yep. And reading his posts, I suspect his problem with Romney has more to do with his religion than anything. I’ve had issues with Mormons in the past, but this election is far too important to let our hatreds get in the way. Either we win, or we go down the tubes. He frankly doesn’t care. It’s all about Romney.
No, Romney is BADDER than Obama, not WORSER.
Our highest priority is getting Obama out. Every vote counts. We will then live to fight another day.
Sound like all the more reason to enact Voter ID - and get everyone you know to vote - right...
I go by record, not by words.
Voting for Hitler would result in less deaths than voting for Stalin. Not voting for Hitler is a vote for Stalin.
Screw that equation, I will vote for someone who represents me and mine.
It is simpler than that. As pointed out upthread, if this logical absurdity were true then not voting for Obama is the same as voting for Romney.
Slave thought and slave argument.
Enjoy your servitude and the reward obeisance deserves.
“No, Romney is BADDER than Obama, not WORSER.”
You rascal ! :-)
Sure. But tell that to the peeved PaulBots, the trolls and retreads who are only here to stink things up. They think they can get into our heads. HA! They’re not smart enough.
The troll RaisingCain just got the zot on another thread. Whew!
Really? What thread?
Mitt will be almost anybody’s huckleberry jam if it’s politically advantageous. In Massachusetts, his political waffle was buttered on the abortion side. The larger USA, not so much.
Do you think that someone like Congressman Paul Ryan would run alongside a man he thought would be pro-abortion?
What’s with all this “slave thought”, “slave argument”, “plantation logic” nonsense some anti-Romney FReepers keep throwing around?
It’s demeaning and I’m assuming intended to be provocative. Are you capable of making your argument without that type of language?
Something has to be happening up on Mt. Olympus of Fresno if a Mitt basher (and RC has produced some of the silliest Mitt bashes I have ever seen) got zotted for it.
“Our highest priority is getting Obama out. Every vote counts. We will then live to fight another day.”
THE OBAMANATION MUST GO
He was ticked off about the thread “Godless Democrats” He outed himself. THEN, he did the unthinkable and tried to instruct the Admins.
if obama wins - enjoy your serfdom. You will have earned it.
So wha hoppen, our cain raiser called mitt godless? that’s happened plenty around here.
Hahahahahaha! Been waiting for that for months! Don’t drink much, but it is time for one a beer!!
No I don't believe he would, and I also don't believe everything people tell me so much as what their track record tells me.
I do believe in repentance if there is evidence and not just words.
“Are you capable of making your argument without that type of language?”
I’ve used many analogies in many posts with regard to similar sentiments. Would you prefer an analogy to parrots or machines, lemmings or sheep?
I will use the analog I wish. ‘Slave’ is best because it refers to those who are sentient but content to be the chattel property of a master or masters. Their votes are spoken for, they will quote the party line and they will bow in whatever direction they are instructed to bow in. Thus slave is a fair description.
I know that the Romney for Caesar crowd is more comfortable with ‘traitor’, ‘troll’ etc. in presenting their party line, but I won’t go there. Not publicly, anyway.
The only rational conclusion I can come to is to support candidates of Tea Party values for the House and Senate, realizing which ever of these guys are elected President, we (Conservatives) are in for a huge battle.
So if I were to literally vote for Obama, then my vote would count as two! That would leave a mark.
“I consider the GOPe as godless as the DNC. In fact, I find all the religious posturing by our GOP leaders, our talk show hosts and our commentators to be the height of hypocrisy. There are money changers in our temples, there is sin being celebrated from our pulpits, with many so called Christians aiding and abetting it, and we all, in unison, condemn the Democrats for what we ourselves are doing?”
“Republicans dont care about what God thinks, and I dare say many conservative Christians these days dont either.”

Never fear. If obummer gets in - you'll never have to worry about voting for another republican as long as you live...
One doesn't have choices in a dictatorship.
Don't be a drive-by thread poster. What say YOU ?

musta had his rosary tied too tight that day or sumfin...
My relatives with the General Assembly and the Church of the First Born do some prayer over their babies as they die of conditions commonly cured by modern medicine ~ they do some counseling too.
Barbarians and cultists are all alike ~ how can anyone vote for either of these guys. I am embarrassed to know so terribly many people who are not at all bothered by these things.
Better look again, I’m all over this thread.
How does “U.S. conservatism” win, with, either President Obama, or President Romney?
2ndDivisionVet does a great job here at FR. His posts are very select and highly rated.
Yes, in fact I do believe it more possible that Mitt would yield to pressure from the Tea Parties than that Obama would. It stinks to have to be in a clamoring contest for control of a silly putty president. But that beats a rigid dogmatic Marxist any day.
Thanks. I found it by browsing his history again. It came down to two threads that it could be. I pinged you from it in my farewell to him.
“Romney/Ryan or Bust! If you don’t vote Romney this Nov. then you will be casting a vote for Obama”
With all due respect, take this diatribe and shove it.
I’m voting for Paul Ryan.....and the other guy.
Even if you got a President Palin, that’s really expecting the president to do everything for you. One door into the presidency is flexible and the other is not. So what do you pick.
