That's crap and we're not buying it
That scare-tactic bullying attempt doesn't fly with principled Conservatives who fear God first and put our faith and principles ahead of bowing down yet again to the Ruling Class out of fear of the other guy.
Every time that crap is spouted, it just solidifies and steels our resolve further to stand against it, even if we stand alone.
Because one day we have to stand before the Governor of the Universe, and give account.
Voting for Romney, is sin to us. And we will not do it. Despite the screams and hollers and threats from those more scared of Obama than of God's judgment. More afraid of losing their money and stuff under Obama, than the accounting for where they stood on foundational principles.
Some of us remember what Romney did to Palin and every Conservative running in the primaries. We recall what Romney's Ruling Class oligarchs did on Tuesday at the RNC.
Principled Conservatives will not yield to the threats or name calling. God comes first before everything. Principles matter, at least to God. Call us 'purists' or whatever you like. England ran such similar people from their midst at one time too. Funny, because those folks are the ones who gave us the foundations our liberty was built on.
So feel free to lick the hands of your Ruling Class masters of whom you grovel before out of fear of the guy that chose this candidate you pledge yourselves and your vote to. We did this same thing before in supporting the Ruling Class chosen candidate in 2008 and have repented of it. Never again.
So how do we tell the difference between the honest Freepers and the covert Obama operatives hoping their posts will reach swing states?
Grow up and enter reality, please.
Who is 'we'? You and RaisinCain?
doesn't fly with principled Conservatives ...
Who elected you spokesman of principled conservatives? You certainly don't speak for me.
This discussion has a similar feel to the discussion of whether one should purchase and eat food offered to idols. The Apostle Paul instructs that while the food that one eats can not defile a believer, nevertheless, a believer should follow his conscience.
I'm sure that Paul would have argued that worshiping idols is by definition, evil, however food is not evil in and of itself.
Similarly, in our day we face a decision of conscience. Has Mitt acquiesced to evil? Yes, when it came to supporting abortion and gay rights - to name a few. Has he changed his mind? Well here is the rub - he says that he has. So what to do?
Well when considering that Obama has doubled-down in his support for the slaying of the unborn, the choice by some of us is clear. As for myself, I can with a clear conscience, cast a vote for Mitt with the understanding that if he acts the charlatan and reneges on his "conversion" he will answer not only to his constituency, but to God Almighty.
If you feel that God would have us disregard an individuals turn towards a more "righteous" public policy, that is your decision, and I will not denigrate your decision to not eat the "meat offered to idols".
However, unless you can produce an Obama supporter who partners with you NOT TO VOTE, you cannot with any logic, contend that your LACK of a vote makes no difference to the overall percentages. If you feel you are taking a principled stand, I can and will respect that. But you look foolish when insisting that withholding your vote has no effect on the overall tally.
Regarding the "lick the hand" language: I could make the argument that Satan wants Obama to remain president, and that anyone who doesn't vote against him is "licking Satan's hand". But since I don't know your heart and you don't know mine, how bout we pray for wisdom, vote our conscience, and let God sort it out?
