Sweet, and kind of sad.
I’m actually Calvin’s mother. He’s 18 now. Not much has changed since he was six, except that he’s now huge and has all these muscles everywhere, and his wild blond hair has been shaved high and tight. He still has a fabulous talent for getting in trouble and a crazy attitude. He just joined the US Marines so he can break things and blow stuff up without having me get mad at him.

This is a nice tribute. Thanks for posting it. Brings back some happy memories.
Calvin and Hobbes was my all-time favorite cartoon strip. Tied for first with the Far Side, which was a single-panel cartoon. Both unbelievably consistent with their quality over a long period of time.
