(Vanity) Personal observation / rant on liberals
10/1/12 | Justlittleoleme

I have been monitoring the news, reading forums, and listening to radio of liberals for quite some time.

So far I have not suffered from brain damage yet.

Just trying to get an understanding of the other side. I know people get offended by generalities. These are just my own personal observations.

The liberals have been brainwashed into thinking all of the people in the conservative areas are stupid and backward. This is not from experience, since most of them have not ever really visited, or experienced life in these areas.

Most of the time people that are conservative are portrayed as a stupid, uneducated and violent people on TV. Unfortunately, the liberals actually believe it.

They also constantly bash Fox News and talk radio, and tell them that its all lies. These people are brainwashed into actually believing everything they are told by the liberal media. They completely ignore all conservative media. All the talk in the world on conservative TV and radio will not change the minds of these people.

If you mention God in any public way, they come out in force to attack you. They are truthfully offended by the worship of God or mentioning of scripture in any circumstance. I think because it convicts their hearts and goes against everything they believe.

They have this superiority complex since the have been taught that conservatives are obviously stupid, uneducated and backward. Since they are clearly better educated, they feel they must remake this country in their own image.

The liberals are just so different. What will it take for them to wake up and realize they are being taken down a road of destruction by their liberal leadership and their dependence on the government?

I am sure this is a duh thread. But wanted to share anyway. I have moved around alot in my life and have lived in both Liberal and Conservative areas of the country. At one point of my life I actually worked for a unionized company. Pay was great but worker ethic was the worst I have ever experienced.

I am a Christian, grew up in Arkansas, have a thick accent, have a private college degree and am highly educated. Please forgive me if I have offended anyone who reads this, just had to get it off my chest.

I see the battle between right and left as part of the perpetual battle between good and evil. It makes sense that evil would hate any mention of Christianity.

For many it would probably just take a few meetings with a psychiatrist. Of course the first step is to have a non-liberal loved one telling them to their face that they have a mental disorder.

You'd thought this might have awoken them.

Don’t try to understand people who think Romney’s wrong for fundraising on Wall Street but think it’s totally awesome that our President fund raises with Jay-Z, a former crack slinger. (I mean c’mon, he might have shot his own brother but he can rhyme...and he’s married to Beyonce!!!!)

Until the producers decide to pick up their toys and stop playing in the rigged game nothing will change. Being young it makes me sad the mess I will be raising my children in.

“I know people get offended by generalities.”

Apart from the sort of funniness of that statement; I don’t especially agree. Some people like to get very specific and are comforted by coherent facts. They don’t view the process of “dialing in the microscope” as tedious effort. I happen to be in that group. Some other people like to speak in vague generalities. There’s something comforting to them about broad, sweeping generalities...maybe it’s a feeling this speech habit imparts of being “above” the gritty tedium of actually getting stuff done....for which one has to be accountable for the results of actions, no matter how altruistic the apparent motivations.

I frankly don’t think there is any piece of superiority about either type. 99% of discussion is about making our brains feel better.

I prefer being fairly specific with people; I find it’s a greater feeling of “meeting of the minds”. Once a specific point is agreed upon, it no longer has to be cogitated or worried about. But that’s just me.

You just have to accept that you have a mind of your own. You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone, regardless of their color. You also need to be able to tell anyone who asks that you will vote against their false President this election. If they don’t like it, they can leave.

You needn’t overly consider their feelings or that they may think you’re racist - whatever. In the end they are users and losers and don’t amount to anything. You shouldn’t really waste any time investing in a friendship or otherwise that has to do with a liberal.

Good Point. I think I was being to general.(sarc) In conversation if you state that all liberals are ________ there will always be somebody who gets upset and says they aren’t like that.

"When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." 1 Corinthians 13:11

Irving Kristol said "a liberal who has been mugged by reality".

That was me, before I was mugged by reality, realized the true value of the US Constitution and our means of Government and what we gain by loosing it: POVERTY OF MIND and MATTER.

You know how you are going to vote in November, so stop listening. All you are getting is madness delivered over the airwaves.
If you want to do something, call the Romney campaign and sign up for calling. Or find a local campaign and join it.

You can take the simplest most basic and universal rule the Golden Rule and if you get enough people who refute it or say it is at its core racist or a violation of some people’s civil rights..and you control a good part of the source of information it makes it a uphill battle to rebut such a claim.
Actually, its a excercise in futility because the entire argument itself is flawed.

What you are seeing and having a hard time believing is THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST working in the people. John said in 1John 2:18-22 that the Antichrist is in the world. Those Democrats that are blinded are blinded by this spirit. It is a huge deception and demonic dellusion. That is why they are trying to get rid of God/Yahuweh from their platform and policies.
So obvious...wish the church would wake up to the reality that Dispensationalism is so off base and the time of the end is in the headlines every day.

BTW some liberals wake up every 2-4 years.
Some of them can be reasoned with.
Like some of the folks who voted for Obama in 2008.
I’m sure quite a few people regret it now.
Nontheless and unfortunately its a very expensive lesson.

They have this superiority complex since the have been taught that conservatives are obviously stupid,

and therefore cannot understand enlightened reasoning and it is thus silly to argue with them since they don't understand so a liberal just asserts and sneers. Enlightened reasoning actually makes it impossible to argue with logic and reason because enlightened reasoning does not include any logic and reason. It is just assertion based on what the liberal believes should be in his mind rather than observations on what is.
