Nothing ever matters unless it matters, so debates not mattering could be true.
However, its more than Romney winning the debate; its about making this a change election and Romney finally did that.

It is really really funny watching the incompetence of the Obama campaign surrogates on display om the post Debate spin. They were so arrogantly certain of their man that they are out there mindlessly repeating the talking points they were given before the debate. It is painfully embarrassing to watch them fumble about trying to spin this disaster. Interesting also is the fact that after this debate the MSM will not be able to ignore Romney. (they will probably try)

Who is moderating the next debate? Soledad? They are working out as we speak to help ole Barry out of this mess.

Romney was clearly the better debater tonight.
But it is discouraging to see two progressives up there arguing about nuances in differences in their progressiveness. Both agree that the following are issues the federal government should be deeply involved in: Education, Health Care, Energy, Jobs, and on and on. Their only difference is the degree and type of involvement.
I’m still voting for Romney. But there will be no fundamental shift in American politics under a president Romney. He will drive me nuts once he is in office, should he win.

While I'm not going to say Romney is going to be another Reagan politically, no one can deny his competency. This is a very calculating, intelligent man who will accomplish whatever he sets his mind to as President.
I don't think anybody in the political world has seen true competence at the Presidential level since Ronald Reagan. We have all forgotten what it looks like, right or left.
There's a reason why leftists are out there slashing their wrists tonight.
I believe this might be the night that Romney won the election. Not because he won over undecideds. Undecideds are stupid and fickle. But because he crushed the leftist perception of both candidates and their hearts also, and because he re-energized the right with a vision of competence.

I believe this might be the night that Romney won the election... because he crushed the leftist perception of both candidates and their hearts also, and because he re-energized the right with a vision of competence. A vision of competence. That'll suffice...

Chris Christie was DEAD ON! He said that after the debate on Thursday, the race would be turned on it’s head! That is exactly what happened.
