post-Sandy message to Obama regarding the gasoline situation in New Jersey
self | 11/2/12 | NewJerseyJoe

I dare The Obama to come back to New Jersey, to visit our gas stations and tell us some more of his ideas about wind and solar and renewable energy -- and explain again why he killed the Keystone pipeline -- and talk about why he cancelled oil leases on federal lands -- and discuss why his rogue EPA has shut down oil refineries -- and remind us about his illegal moratorium on drilling in the Gulf ... I dare him, I say. In fact, I double dare him.

The biggest problem New Jersey is going to have comes from their anti-”gouging” laws. Holding prices artificially low just creates shortages faster and makes them last longer.

The photo op is done and O is back on the campaign trail. Meanwhile, NJ, NY, PA, CT are left to clean up the mess, on their own. These are all “blue” states and O takes it for granted that, with or without aid, they are already in his column. Do you think there is enough misery, post Sandy, that voters will shift their votes to Romney? There is nothing like the reality check of a disaster to remold a person’s voting decision. Wouldn’t that be a stunner if Romney took any one of those states :-)

Absolutely. Unfortunately, few people understand this, and it's easy to appeal to emotion.

On Fox and Friends this morning, a reporter was breathlessly reporting $5.99/gal prices at a NJ gas station that "just shut down after it saw our truck!" "People are waiting in line, but they don't know that the station just closed!"

Yeah, because of you, dumbass!

The station owner could have used the extra income to pay for expedited gas deliveries. But now he can't, thanks to the stupid, college-educated, economically illiterate, reporter.

Don't hold your breath . . . Øboy is a coward, the one area in which the maggot IS proficient.

If there are no skirts to hide behind, no mommy to run to for cover, it's just a sissy in a PR shell provided by others.

The only 'magic' about the manchurian muslim traitor is the facade built by 'his' handlers for and on the backs of so depressingly many witless humanoids.

They say their are gas shortages in NJ. But it surely is not the whole state. Is it just coastal regions? and areas still without power? and how extensive are the out of power regions of the state at this point?

I assume that if you live less than 20 miles from the state of Pennsylvania you have no gas line problems.

LOL... Yep. I saw that.

Let the price roll on up to ten or fifteen bucks and gas will start flowing into NJ from all over. Sure, it’ll be spendy but there will be gas.

post Sandy, that voters will shift their votes to Romney

No. The majority of voters there are too stupid to realize that there are consequences associated with who wins elections. The trouble with the majority of Masshole , New York etc. voters is that they're too stupid to realize how stupid they are. There is a proven effect that dumbasses actually think that they're smarter than average. They're too stupid to associate cause and effect. They have their magic black man, and just because his sole magic trick was to turn a down economy further into the crapper, they have not lost faith. I'll bet you not one of them could answer "What has he done in the last four years that you want to see more of?" with anything like a rational answer.

Think gas is expensive? How much would you pay not to have to push your car a mile?

You know, I live in CT, and Hurricane Irene was a bit smaller than than Sandy, but caused a ton of damaged in New England. However, I definately don’t remember obama visiting CT or Vermont to personally inspect the damage.

Media please spare me that obama stopped campaigning for the Hurricane Sandy and put politics aside. He doesn’t visit and personally inspect every area a CAT 1 hurricane strikes. Actually, I think this maybe his first catastrophe he ever responded to.

Along with the gas issue, didn’t we hear Obozo say he had all the assets standing by waiting for the storm to be over?
Why are people having to eat out of dumpsters? Where is the water? Why are there still bodies lying around on Staten Island? If this had been a Republican president the media would be screaming bloody murder!!
There are 2 huge generators sitting in Central Park for that stupid Marathon this weekend. Why aren’t they somewhere powering a couple of gas stations?
Instead of concentrating on feeding and housing people, why are those idiots wasting their time planning the Obozo campaign concert? Springsteen, Bon Jovi, etc are going to get together tonight and bad mouth Romney, and tell America (under the guise of raising money for the storm damaged areas) what a wonderful president Obozo has been.
The situation is already much worse than Katrina, and deteriorating further

I just can’t muster up much sympathy for a bunch of whiners who had over a week’s warning that this storm was coming, and didn’t fill their gas tanks, plus an extra 5 gal. can.
How damn stupid, and lazy are these people?
In snow country, we keep our trucks full most of the time, and always have an extra 5-100 gals. on hand. It’s not that hard. Shades of Katrina, all over again, or as we say up here....dumbass liberals.
