Cops, detectives, FBI agents, U.S. soldiers tell Natural News they will not enforce gun confiscation
http://www.naturalnews.com ^ | December 19, 2012 | Mike Adams

Posted on 12/19/2012 1:22:01 PM PST by truthfinder9

In the wake of the recent Sandy Hook shooting, I reached out to my contacts in law enforcement, military and (retired) FBI over the last three days, asking three simple questions:

#1) Do you think Obama will use executive orders to demand nationwide gun confiscation?

#2) If such an order is given, will you or fellow members of your organization enforce it against the citizens? (And if so, how?)

#3) What is the solution to stopping future mass shootings?

I posed these questions to one ex-FBI agent, one retired Sheriff's deputy, two active duty city police detectives, one retired former police captain of a major U.S. city, two U.S. Army veterans and one USMC veteran, discharged several years ago after two tours in Afghanistan during which he sustained a severe personal injury. For obvious reasons, none of them wish to be identified by name, but their answers below speak to their credibility and authenticity.

Here are their answers.

The Army actually conducted a similar survey recently. Younger soldiers were more likely to comply.

WACO, Ruby Ridge, Katrina, Pine Ridge and a host of smaller instances prove some to many will follow orders.

Now whose being utopian? Seeing other cops obey the order and faced with the prospect of being fired, every cop is going to comply. Most won’t even hesitate.

Why would they? They know us, and know that many of them would not make it very far once things got started.

Some among them might not hesitate to obey orders to confiscate, and many of us would not hesitate to protect our rights either.

#1) Do you think Obama will use executive orders to demand nationwide gun confiscation?

As my late grandpa always said, "Demand in one hand, Sh*t in the other and see which one fills up the fastest."

The entire premise of the question is that Obama knows exactly who owns all 25 million "Assault Weapons" in America and can send some law enforcement agency straight to their door. Unless he's got Madame Cleo and the psychic friends network on staff, that's a nonstarter. He would like like a bigger fool than when Canada thought all gun owners would bend over and comply with the long gun registry...

"The Army actually conducted a similar survey recently. Younger soldiers were more likely to comply."

I haven't seen any such survey, but I'll accept what you say at face value.

Having said that, I would guess that any survey of the military on virtually any subject since the founding of our republic would have had similar results. Younger soldiers sit at the bottom of the rank structure and tend to put their trust in their leadership to do the right thing, point them in the right direction, and have good reasons behind their orders.

The last paragraph is what worries me

Is this all a ploy to open the door for UN troops on the streets in America?

Finally, it's worth considering that civil war may be exactly what Obama wants to cause. It would rip America apart, making way for United Nations troops to invade and seize control, claiming "humanitarian" justification.

This could be precisely the action needed to unleash blue helmets across America and push for nationwide disarmament and military occupation.

That may work with Gen-X/Y/Z Obunga voters and their X-boxes, but there are millions of veterans that would be highly pissed off and motivated.

Any attempt at subjugation would get very nasty. I doubt the UN would have the stomach for the thresher they found themselves in.

Yes. As the author states:
“All my contact in law enforcement are in Southern U.S. states. Opinions may be very different in Northern or Eastern cities such as Chicago, New York or New Jersey.”

I have no doubt that blue states would produce enough Red Guards to create massive turmoil and oppression.

The most convincing observation to me is that many would refuse to act due to simple attrition because this would be a suicide mission.

I also found it noteworthy that more would follow instructions to confiscate firearms if the order came from a Republican. The violation of the 2nd Amendment would be just as egregious, whether the oppressors wore blue armbands or red. It is not Obama that brought us DHS and TSA. We must stop accepting statist policies just because they come wrapped in conservative sounding BS.

One glaring omission frightens me to no end. Not one person cited the Constitution as the reason for not obeying a presidential order to confiscate weapons.

Reasons given for not confiscating were personal safety and not being trained. Hello...............

Some indicated they would participate if the order was given by a republican president. WTF.............

Even though the author of the article prides on his disclosure that confiscation of civilian weapons through presidential order by local LE or the military would not happen for a myriad of reasons, the smugness should disappear when reviewing the replies. Those replies, frankly scare the sh*t out of me!!!

Those replies tell me that too many of the same people would engage in weapons confiscation if only a few modifications were in place, such as better training, increased personal safety, perhaps additional hazard pay or just change the political party affiliation of the person giving the un-Constitutional order.

If nothing else, this article opened my eyes as to how close the USA is to its end as a constitutional representative republic

I would be very attentive of any reports of other NATO countries suddenly shipping off UN peacekeepers to an undisclosed training area. A few hundred this day, a few hundred the next day, each in cover as a businessperson, couple or tourist being stationed at kep strategic positions across the country.

take out the internet, take out the cellphones. Jam CB, shortwave, marine and handhelds. Take control of each states national Guard Armory. Then the power stations, fuel and water. make the people cold hungry and disconnected.

With nor organized cohesive resistance, well as they say, resistance is futile.

Best we form our own individual Constitutional Tea Party Militia, right now. Small groups, in cells, find alternative or piggyback comms, like morse code through a high voltage arc on railroad tracks.

Or designated repeater towers using line of sight lasers in morse code.

It won’t be confiscation. It will be stagnation. Throw up enough hindrances to private ownership and they’ll fade away. Stifle FFLs by slowing or stopping paperwork processing. Expand coverage of NFA taxation and registration. Sure you can own what you want...if you can find a seller and a viable price.

Be mindful that even “some” family members are not to be trusted...Especially if they know what you have...

I would look at your collection, see what you are willing to sell, make sure those family members see a few sales, and talk about some of your “items” (that you want to put into savings) are “sold” as well...

That way your necessities, if it comes to it, will not be widely known to most people...Have one or two cheap, throwdowns to relinquish if it comes to that...

Don’t go too overboard with stories about “I lost them in a boating accident, ot sold them to this guy named John Someone...” They will, by the time they get around to you, heard enough of that nonsense...

Better to have a substantive plan, and system in place to protect yourself now, than wait for any action they may start to take on us...

Just my opinion...

Like me you are posting because the article title is important to you, the article itself was interesting enough to read, and than you felt compelled to add your comment.

Here is my comment:

I was born and raised in California and have lived here my whole life. My father was a Marine Corps gunnery sergeant and a Korean War veteran. One of my uncles landed at Utah Beach at Normandy in WWII and earned two bronze stars and his brother was with the 1'st Marine Div. on Guadal Canal. I am 52 years old and have been hunting, shooting, reloading, collecting, restoring, carrying, firearms since the cradle and will continue to the grave. I will not turn in any type of firearm to any agency under any circumstance for any reason provided, either requested or at the point of a gun or threat of arrest. I will use my weapons to defend against any such tyranny and with a clear conscience defy anyone attempting to carry out any illegal order in clear violation of the second amendment and my God given rights. That for me is the rubicon crossing for once free men give up arms there is no one left to defend freedom. I will be dammed if some evil little sob becomes an excuse and a catalyst for larger evils to be spawned and unrestricted power and control be granted to anyone other than free men.

Everyone I know feels the same way, how about you? I have already seen it happen in California when they banned Chinese and War Saw pact semi auto SKS rifles. I did not own one but hundreds of thousands were already owned when they were banned and nobody turned them in. Little is talked about that. You could count with one set of fingers how many out of half a million rifles that were turned in and given up within California. I have two family members in law enforcement who would refuse to enforce any confiscation orders.

My grandfathers, uncles, father, are all in the grave and warned me this day could come. They all either gave blood and/or fought for this nation and our freedoms. My heritage goes back to the founding of this nation and have had family fight in every war this nation has engaged in from its founding, on its own soil, and on foreign shores. I would not shy away from that responsibility to defend the freedom my family has fought and bleed to preserve, so help me God.

There is precedence for this and it seems that Obama is following in the Nazi footsteps. The Pink Swastika covers it in detail. A very good read and an explanation as to why the left switched to the "rainbow" emblem from the pink triangle.

Their lurid history of participating in mass murder has been well established in the SS and Nazi party.

They don't need to go in and confiscate all the weapons.

All the President needs to do is establish an Executive Order that stops "gun checks" from being performed by the federal authorities. Without them, NO weapons will be sold through an FFL. The FFLs will shortly all shut down their businesses, cutting off commercial supply.

Who is going to stop the EO? The Senate? The Courts? Congress? Don't make me laugh. Nothing to stop him will happen without Senate approval - even impeachment. 0bama is currently immune from checks and balances, period!

Part of said Executive Order would be establishing penalties on selling, owning, or possessing a plethora of weapons, magazines, etc., but not all. It would also establish the machinery to prevent a "black market" on guns, ammo, parts, accessories. The federal agencies to do it are already there and up and running.

Eventually, piecemeal, many weapons owners would be come criminals. Lock 'em up! The examples will be plentiful and include serious jail time. After many are cowed, eventually promise "amnesty" to those who turn in their "illegal" weapons, ammo, accessories, etc. - or face more draconian penalties.

It won't be a show of force like the British marching on Lexington and Concord. It will be destroying gun owners - one at a time. Armed resistance is unlikely to coalesce but if it does it is put down in a decisive and deadly way (remember Waco, Ruby Ridge?).

It will be a piecemeal takeover, not one that would likely start an armed revolt which confiscation or a wholesale ban would do. In about 10 years the "frog" will slowly boil and then die. The few remaining stragglers will then be stamped out as they surface.

Of course criminals, gangbangers, and drug gangs will still have their weapons and plenty of them. Any use of a firearm against them by "civilians" would continue to reveal misscreants who will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Honest citizens in Mexico are almost completely disarmed. Look how well it has worked out for them. Do you think their government cares they are sitting ducks with no means of self-defense and are being murdered in the thousands?

Why would our government be any different? It will be run by the same type of corrupt and power mad people?

Anyhow, that is how I see it possibly playing out. I hope I am just having a little nightmare and I will wake up soon.

IMO, you should have gone a little farther and equated our government with that of Rwanda...or Haiti! It, like our culture, has always been the same as in those places. [More than a little grownup irony and sarcasm there.]

Mexico's culture is not that of the USA, although a lot of loonies freaking out about the end of the world are convinced that it is. Write your members of Congress and state legislators. “The Army actually conducted a similar survey recently. Younger soldiers were more likely to comply.”

This is not directed at you RC one, but at certain individuals.

No, the army didn’t conduct a recent survey. The last survey done was in the 1990s when boy Clinton was infesting the Whitehouse. That survey, conducted by a Naval officer, polled Marines. Sixty-four percent said that they wouldn’t obey orders to shoot their mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters in their beds.

That means that most Marines aren’t goosestepping gestapo. I’ll extrapolate that result and apply it to our comrades in the Army.

The only correct bit of info is that 18-year-old boots and privates might - possibly - be willing to obey orders. That attitude will be corrected by platoon sergeants and company captains.

Now, can we finally, once and for all, stop this GD inference that our military brothers and sisters are goosestepping gestapo mass murderers? I’ve had it up to my eyeballs with certain FReepers insisting that our soldiers and Marines are mindless Nazi killers.

Thank you.

I know some soldiers would have complied and others who would have joined our side immediately. I was Army infantry. My buddy was Army medic. It would be civil war/revolution either way and the country would not endure which is what leftists want anyways.
