Hobby Lobby a Cash Cow for Obama or Maybe Oklahoma is too Red?

Companies owned by Catholics and Protestants have received temporary ObamaCare injunctions. The injunction requested by Oklahoma's Hobby Lobby and Mardel stores was rejected. Oklahoma is the only state where every county, all 77, voted against Barack Obama. Maybe that's the problem, or maybe the problem is the Cash Cow Status of Hobby Lobby, which is required to pay a fine of $1.3 Million PER DAY if they refuse to pay for birth control and abortions (the morning after, and the week after pill) for employees under their self-insured health care programs. The fines are not designated to pay down the deficit. Maybe Obama's stash needs replenishing.

In Michigan, one headline reads "Catholic company wins injunction...." Weingartz Supply Company sells outdoor power and lawn equipment. The owner, Dan Weingartz is Catholic, but the company...well, it sells outdoor power and lawn equipment. Michigan, however, is a very blue state. Having said all that, good for Mr. Weingartz and his company. How unfortunate is it in America that he should have to go to court to keep from paying for another person's abortion.

In Missouri, American Pulverizing and City Welding Company received the temporary injunction. American Pulverizer makes products for "greater coal reduction...hundreds of millions of tons of coal have been reduced...." and "wood hogs which save on fuel costs" according to their website.

The owners, who are Evangelical Christians, contend that the HHS mandate requiring coverage for abortion-inducing drugs – including the “morning-after pill” – violates their religious belief that they may not pay for such services. Source: ACLJ
Pennsylvania's Conestoga Wood Specialities received an exemption. The company is headlined as a "Christian-Owned Manufacturing Company...."

Put Weingartz, American Pulverizing and Conestoga Wood together, and their fines combined, would be small beans next to Hobby Lobby and not mean much for Obama's stash. I'll repeat, these companies and others should be praised for fighting this ObamaCare insanity and when one is successful in receiving the temporary injunction, it's a good thing.

The David Green Family owns Hobby Lobby, headquartered in Oklahoma City with locations in 520 locations in 41 states. They employ 13,000. David Green is known for living his faith everyday through his business.

Green is a big contributor to evangelical education, with a $10.5 million gift to Jerry Falwell's Liberty University in 2004 and $70 million to bail out Oral Roberts University in 2007. He has also put nearly 1.4 billion copies of gospel literature in homes in more than 100 countries, mostly in Africa and Asia. He joined the Giving Pledge in 2010. Source
The family also owns Mardel stores, employing 372 employees in 35 stores, usually located next to a Hobby Lobby store, selling Bibles, educational materials, Christian gifts, music, artwork and books.

When Richard Roberts was accused of abusing funds and his position as head of Oral Roberts University (a fine university that has sent many outstanding young men and women out into the world), Green came to the rescue, insisted that Roberts resign - cleaned house in many ways, and restored the University's finances and integrity to it's long and respected legacy. Oral Roberts the man may have been controversial, but the University was not.

Hobby Lobby filed an emergency appeal to the US Supreme Court, where Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor ruled that the "extraordinary relief they seek" is not "indisputedly clear." Hobby Lobby is continuing through the Appeal process. According to news reports, the fine began on January 1, 2013.

There are other examples that could be shown here, but I think these few make the point. I believe it's about the money, and a disdain for the people of Oklahoma. Bookmark The Beckett Fund to view all the lawsuits underway and the rulings already been decided.

It’s as simple as

The left hate Christ and His people.
And they will use the power of the State to destroy them if possible.

The left hates all religions except Islam. Are muslims exempt from Obamacare? I read somewhere that insurance is a sin according to muslim beliefs.

Have to disagree.
The only reason that it looks like they like Islam is the common enemy in Christ.
