I have mixed feelings about the pledge of allegiance that was penned by an avowed socialist without reference to God and with the "Bellamy Salute".

Whoops. I'm sure the President just made a mistake and the words "under God" just happened to be missing in the pledge of allegiance.
During the pledge of allegiance during the inauguration yesterday, the words "under God" were removed by the President.
Introducing the President, Myrlie Evers-Williams read a flowery version of the pledge:
“We now stand beneath the shadow of the nation’s capital, who’s golden dome reflects the unity and democracy of one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all...”
Of course this isn't the first time that the Democratic party has removed God from their speeches. During the Democratic National Convention, the left bumbled when they removed all mentions of Jerusalem and God from their platform.

I didn’t watch this fiasco, but did they actually not cite the real pledge?
Isnt there a movie quote about the transformation being almost complete? Maybe star wars? Or something else where a good thing is transformed into an evil thing?

What do you expect in a Nation where, now, a majority of Americans approve of abortion in all circumstances.
They have removed God from the governing of this nation, so why wouldn’t they remove it from the pledge.

You mean he didn’t substitute “under me”?
It must have been a Fox highlights spot I saw, but when he took the oath, they didn’t show him saying, “against all enemies, foreign and domestic”. I have to believe that omission would have merited a mention before now, so it was probably artful editing.

I pledge obedience to the Flag
of the United Serfs of America,
and to the President for which whom it stands:
one Nation under Obama, Empathetic,
With Fairness and Security for all.
There. Isn't that better?
Senator Palpatine has morphed into the Darth Sidious, and has fully embraced the dark side of the Force. For Bronco Bama, the metamorphosis is still incomplete. He has never learned how to handle the light saber.
Remember, a world still exists out here that is largely untouched and untouchable by whatever dregs of the dark side can be dredged up. We are fortunate that Bronco Bama has never fully mastered the Force, and cannot understand the complexities that arise from its misuse.
With luck, he will cut off his own arm.

I didn't waste my time watching the kenyan commie's coronation, but I'd bet having his hand on a Bible caused a severe burning sensation.
