The Boy Scouts of America have set up a hotline to ask if you are for or against a policy change that would allow homosexual men to be Scout leaders.
The number has been pushed throughout the day on liberal blogs and twitter. Just like with Chick-fil-A, please let them know how you feel.
Please call 972-580-2330 before the this gets turned loose on our scouts
in the 70’s I never wanted to join the boyscouts even though
I was a cub scout because those older guys seemed like mamas boys and queers, as in strange. Now what is a kid to think!
It’s already a lost cause if they are going to decide what to do based on a poll. If they cannot stay true to their mission because it’s the right thing to do, it’s over. BSA will soon stand for Buggering Sodomites of America.

How do we know that the person taking the call will mark your vote correctly? They could be pro queer and just ignore your vote.
I am the father of a Tiger scout so I feel I have standing.
I wondered about that.
I would think that they would be recording the phone number along with the vote. I have a private phone number so I don’t know how that would show up on their caller ID.
I thought they been there done this, got the lawsuits to prove it. Are they nuts?

Yes, the guy/girl/thing is the one that went after Miss America for defending traditional marriage and is now leading the charge along with the actor who played Sulu in the old Star Trek.
BTW-I think the BSA are cowards for doing this. Will they also be asking a society (that Boo-ed God at the Democrat convention) if they should change the policy of God as well?

Why would BSA be concerned about what the general public thinks? They should be polling scout troops and members who have an actual stake. This is probably some left wing propaganda setup

Based on recent history with these sorts of things, the decision has already been made. This is an effort to have it seem like a majority decision. We will have no idea what the true numbers were.

Most of the operating revenue for the BSA comes from charitable contributions from people with no direct connections to the BSA.
Of course! Immediate family of the Scouts is a given.
I’m Cmt Chair of a troop serving the homeschool community. We discriminate and only serve homeschool families. We practice our right to assembly. We will likely evaluate terminating the troop or further segregating ourselves from the wider Scouting community.

banks need deposits.
retailers need customers.
conservatives have to essentially burn up the phone lines with objections to this.
they may get donors but how will they have membership? what sane mother or father would want to place their child with a homosexual in a tent alone?
