Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012. Her death was caused by choices she made on her own.
President Barack Obama reacted within two days
WASHINGTON — The White House says President Barack Obama's thoughts and prayers are with Whitney Houston's family, especially her daughter.Press secretary Jay Carney says it's hard not to be an admirer of the singer's "immense talent." And, he says it's a tragedy to lose somebody so talented at such a young age.
Carney said he wasn't sure if Obama and Houston ever had met.
The 48-year-old singer died Saturday.
He had thoughts and prayers for the Houston family.
So far he's had no thoughts and prayers for the Kyle family.

I have a uneasyness in my gut about what was behind Chris Kyle’s murder.
We have been told almost nothing about his murderer except that at one time he served in the Marines.
Was he a Muslim convert? Was he bought off by that element? Some reports of his statements to family members before he was arrested suggest he had “made a pact with the devil”. Wonder what that is about?
A White American hero? That’s exactly what 0 hates. Expect no statements from 0.
Notice his reaction to events. It’s very telling He doesn’t have to come out and say that he hates Americans, Christians, Jews, and loves bearded savages. He proves it every day by his actions or inactions.
When faced with a TRUE American hero, the left hasn’t a clue what to say.
Dear Leader is simply too busy blaming others/conservatives for all of the problems that we are facing. Chris Kyle by our standards was an extraordinary man, by Dear Leader’s standard Mr. Kyle was just another serf like the rest of us, nothing special. Making par is much more important.

Chris Kyle has given Obama’s brothers way too many eternal dirt naps for him to mourn over his passing.
Maybe if Kyle had been BLACK Obama would’ve eulogized. Racist POS
No mystery there-Kyle was a hero, Houston was just another self-absorbed celebrity who OD’d...
“Its” silence speaks volumes.
Obama is NOT one of us, so why should we care if he says anthing about our hero. Personally, I am happy that he has stayed out of the whole story.
