The Economic Collapse ^ | 2/21/13 | Michael Snyder

Is the U.S. economy about to experience a major downturn? Unfortunately, there are a whole bunch of signs that economic activity in the United States is really slowing down right now. Freight volumes and freight expenditures are way down, consumer confidence has declined sharply, major retail chains all over America are closing hundreds of stores, and the "sequester" threatens to give the American people their first significant opportunity to experience what "austerity" tastes like.

We need to bring back American jobs.

Stop sending jobs globally.

Bring them home, and change the tax code to encourage American jobs.

As soon as I read that the sequester will give the American people a taste of what austerity is I stopped reading. The sequester amounts a raindrop in the ocean of federal deficit spending. Its not even a cut - its a tiny decrease in the growth of federal spending. Stupid people demagogue this to death.

The problem is us. The american people. We spout all this jibber jabber about wanting jobs here and keep encouraging the “problem companies” by shopping there and patronizing them. The tax code in this country is OBSCENE against domestic business, and indeed needs to be changed, but a little personal accountability wouldn’t kill us either.

Database server took a dump, had to purchase and install a replacement.

At lease that’s what I took from the reason we were down.

I think we are going to be toast at some point this year. Plus, those who live in liberal states are going to lose their firearms. That makes those states double toast.

Now, the VA has a new rule (from Hussein of course) is sending letters to some of our military that they can't have or buy a firearm.

I expect the Social Security Administration to have a new rule (from Hussein of course), and they will send letters to seniors informing them, they can't have or buy firearms. Those states that have a gun registration list will give SS Adm. the ability to know who has firearms and send a letter to seniors in those states, either turn in your firearms or your social security check stops.

I figured Hussein would use rules (which he can write without going to congress) instead of laws to take and limit the sale of firearms and he's doing it.

...when freepers forgot buckhead was a hero

There are always the naysayers, and the jealous ones that don't have a clue.

Buckhead is and always will be a HERO to most FR members (of course there are disrupters and plants...Rather pesky those...)

Those that don't understand the signicicance of what Buckhead did need to upload some conservative creds.

Me, I'm one of those that posts almost every day

Reading will fer sure keep you up to speed with the latest "truth" of events

(shaking head)

They want to remove weapons from those most capable of using them - veterans that were well-trained and can fight back most effectively against a tyrannical government. This is hardly gun control to make the masses safer. Veterans would be the people that know how to handle weapons safely and how to store them safely in their houses. Or whatever it is the government is pretending to be worried about.

I think we may have to develop Johnny’s philosophy: Ignore stupid laws (and regulations too).
