This cartoon/leaflet, which is explicitly placed in the public domain, relates to State Rep. Joe Salazar's (D-CO) statement,
"It's why we have call boxes, it's why we have safe zones, it's why we have the whistles. Because you just don't know who you're gonna be shooting at," Salazar said in the debate last Friday. "And you don't know if you feel like you're gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone's been following you around or if you feel like you're in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop ... pop a round at somebody."
Salazar apologized but, as in a chess game, this is one move he doesn't get to take back. The University of Colorado (Colorado Springs) meanwhile recommended urination and vomiting as a "defense" against rape, the implication being that handguns were not necessary.

It’s like one of those United Nations “safe zones” in which people were massacred.
I am embarrassed to say this guy is from my state. I’ll keep this around to show the girls right before the next election!
Todd Akin should move to Colorado and run against this guy. That way when the going got tough in the campaign, Akin could always fall back on the argument that, “His rape comment was dumber than mine!”
OK - this is INFURIATING! When stupid men try to give advice to women about RAPE, well, that’s the last straw. And Joe Biden with his advice to his wife to walk out on your balcony and FIRE AWAY with your shotgun - well, he should be impeached for being a complete bafoon! Can you even imagine that Biden is the VP of the USA? It’s like the Twilight Zone anymore!

Anyone know if this Joe is related to the outgoing Interior Secretary and former Colorado Senator Ken Salazar? Lots of nepotism in politics but Salazar is hardly a unique name.
