Appearing on CNN Wednesday, the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward said a “very senior person” at the White House warned him that he would “regret doing this,” referring to his outspoken criticism of President Barack Obama’s handling of the impending forced cuts known as the sequester.
“I think they’re confused,” Woodward told CNN host Wolf Blitzer. Woodward apparently went on to criticize Obama further over the sequester the same day he received the warning from the White House.
“It makes me very uncomfortable for the White House to be telling reporters, you are going to ‘regret’ doing something that you believe in,” he added. “It’s Mickey Mouse.”

I think this is perhaps a sign that the wheels are about to come off the OZero wagon. No one I know actually cares about the looming sequestration. In fact most are quite ok with it. Other than loony lefties no one thinks the world will come to an end on Friday. And little by little reporters are waking up to the fact that their love, Obama, is simply using them.
What is that accent he has - Ohio? Michigan?
Let's just hope the GOP eunuchs don't cave at the last minute so everyone can see that, indeed, a piddly 2% reduction in the rate of Fedzilla's budget increase will not usher in the apocalypse.
Me too. Glad he 'went public' with it. I really do hope many members of the media will see this as an attack on 'one of their own' and circle the wagons. We'll see.
