Texas Prosecutor And Wife Slain At Their Home
Friends of Ours ^ | 03/31/13 | Friends of Ours

Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia Woodward McLelland were shot to death in their home last night as reported by The Dallas Morning News:

"A law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity described the scene at the McLellands' home as an awful scene where the door appeared to have been kicked in. 'There are shell casings everywhere,' the official said. 'This is unprecedented. This is unbelievable. This is huge.'"

Last month Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse was gunned down outside the local courthouse by two men in tactical gear who remain at large, and authorities fear the murders may be connected to a retaliatory plot by Mexican cartels.

The drug cartels freelance their retail distribution and enforcement work to local street and prison gangs across the United States, and have recently been targeting both Mexican and U.S. law enforcement officials for assassination.

Last week the Texas Department of Public Safety released a report identifiying the Mexican drug cartels as the greatest threat to the Lone Star State as reported by KWTX: "six cartels have command and control networks in the state, moving drugs and people into the United States, and transporting cash, weapons and stolen vehicles back to Mexico." Former Texas Ranger Mark Leger says "Mexican drug cartels are a real and present threat to Central Texas," and "sometimes, the general public doesn't have any idea that there are gangs operating in their cities and towns."

Meanwhile, the Obama admininistation naively -- or is it cynically? -- continues to insist that the border is secure, there is no evidence of drug-related spillover violence, and American citizens have no need to own semi-automatic rifles and standard-capacity magazines for personal protection.

> Obama must’ve jerking himself over this little two-fer.... Not only a chance for yet another crisis, but another opportunity to push for gun restrictions.

There is absolutely no law he could have passed to stop this type of incident; a surprise attack in the middle of the night; not even an assault weapon ban or sealing of the borders; the cat and her kittens are long gone from the bag and have reproduced exponentially. The “People” of the United States of America might be a lot less prone to commit acts like this if their lives were unmolested by so much government intervention, unncecessary laws and regulations, and the economy were stable. He took away our hope and brought way wayyy too much change.

Texas will have to defend itself. Obama hates Texas and won’t lift a finger to help. The FBI should have been down here yesterday, if there was any interest in finding these killers from Mexico.

Listen, this going to get a lot worse. I have been keeping on eye on this Mexican drug cartel situation for a while and its unbelievable. I just saw a video yesterday that was filmed by one of the cartels chopping off the the heads of 3 men and 2, all at the same time, then dismembering the bodies, and putting the arms and legs into a big 55 gallon drum of acid. Its super hard to watch, its disgusting, but somebody has to watch and tell other people about it so they will know the danger. This isn't 9,000 miles away in Afgahnistan, This is happening here in North America. Soon just talking about this will put you danger of a head chopping. It is coming to a neighborhood near you. And the US government supplied these maniacs with weapons, and don't want YOU to own guns.

I left out they also cut the heads off of two women along with the 3 men. Three weeks ago I saw a different video where they cut the heads off of one man and then 3 women. I am going to guess children are next??? Nobody is safe.

The article in the Ft Worth paper completely avoided any reference to Mexican drug cartels. Disgusting.

It’s only unprecedented in America.

It’s been happening for a while in Mexico.

It’s coming home to roost. Thank Ms. Napolitano.

The daily mail UK is saying it may be related to the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas.

No one knows yet who it was.

You assume it is the cartels and not the administration. That’s a stretch, these days.

IMHO it isn't too far a stretch to equate one with the other............

Texas will have to defend itself. Obama hates Texas and won’t lift a finger to help.

That's a monumental understatement. Not only will they not help; the Obamanation will PROHIBIT Texas from defending itself, as they have numerous other states.

A malevolent entity has waged war on us, the American people. And I'm not talking about Mexico. We are insane if we don't respond.

Until that fag leaves or is forced from office, this sort of activity will grow and happen further and further from the border.

The time has come to invade norhtern mexico and clear out this rats nest.

Reading the article, I see that the Aryan Brotherhood is working with the cartels.

There are only two things that will stop this, and I suggest both.

Drone strikes across the border. The Mexican government will complain but we just tell them “Tough. If you don’t like it, cure the problem from your side.”

Second, end this foolish idea that making drugs illegal will make them go away.

I was a kid in Chicago during prohibition and I remember well the gang wars.

The only thing that ended the gang wars was the end of prohibition.

The FBI made headlines and fodder for movies, etc., but their impact on the gangs was not as great as it was on Hollywood.

The drug wars are costing all of us our freedom and many of us our lives.

What is really sad...is the fact we will have to wait until foreign news agencies pick up on this story to get some real information about this...like connecting the dots...

>>Obama admininistation naively — or is it cynically? — continues to insist that the border is secure...<<

If ya live down here in Texas, you know full well this is a lie perpetrated by republicans and democrats alike.

This has gone on for decades. I've been to the border on many occasions and it is a very dangerous area. All the way back in the 80’s when I'd go down there, it was a lawless place.

I've seen illegals swimming the river in broad damn daylight, disappearing in a grove heavy cat tails, waiting for night fall.

Question. Why the hell do we have troops half way around the world ferreting out cave dwellers in Iraq and Afghanistan when the real threat to national security is but a stones throw away.....Mexico?
