Based on their recent sellouts, Rubio or Paul will never be president. They have shot themselves in the foot. The entire nation sees what they are doing and saying. They cannot try to weasel out of the positions they just laid out on amnesty. If they try to, they will just make themselves look like even bigger frauds than they already do. Rand can't even come flat out and say what he wants. He has to pussyfoot around, say things like "Let's not get sidetracked with labels like amnesty". Sure. We can't call it what it is.

And then there's Rubio. Here's what he said in 2010 while running for senator in FL.......................... http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/rubio-in-2010-ill-never-support-amnesty/ The last 20 seconds leaves no doubt as to what he believed at that time, or at least what he said he believed at that time, which is what he needed to say to help him get elected in FL. Now he's singing a different tune, thinking it will help his chance at becoming president, when in fact his new position exposes him as a liar and a fraud, and will hurt his chances. How stupid does he think people are? It's on video, he can run, but he can't hide. May even cause him to lose his senate seat next time, unless he flips back again to his original position. What a joke.

They both screwed up and here's why. As everyone knows, during the Republican primaries, all the candidates rush to the far right, to get the conservative vote. Those two RINOs can't change their positions back now, and will split the pro-amnesty vote, leaving the race wide open to a real conservative. Even if only one of them runs, there will still be a huge number of voters who back the candidate who opposes amnesty. If one of the two RINOs manages to get the nomination, the party will be so split that he won't have a chance at winning. Millions upon millions of Republicans who oppose amnesty will stay home, or vote 3rd party, handing it once again to the Demoncraps. What's the point in voting to put a Republican in the White House, when he's no different than a damn Demoncrap? The best thing to do is dump these two traitors now, and back a real conservative for 2016. The most pathetic part of all this is that this crap isn't going to pass anyway. And even if it did, it would not tilt latinos toward Republicans, and would cost millions of voters who oppose amnesty. So it's lose-lose all around for these two RINOs. They got carried away with their ambitions, and forgot to think in the process.

It's all just a game for them. Do whatever, say whatever it takes, the country be damned. It's not about selling out the American people again in order to further your political career and power trip. It's about putting America first, doing what is best for America and acting in line with what the majority of citizens believe and want. If they think this trick is what it takes to get another Republican in the White House , then the party is doomed. It won't work anyway. There's a chance in 2016 if the Repubs put an end to all this nonsense and start talking and acting like conservatives for a change.

For those who still might have doubts.....

Rubio’s chief-of-staff is a man named Cesar Conda.

Cesar Conda once worked as a Washington lobbyist for the Association of Immigration Lawyers.

It is hard to believe how quickly people like Rubio and Toomey forget the depth of conservatism among those who elected them. They will find out now, but only after we all pay for it.

Great post

What’s doubly scary is that there are still way too many PhonyCons who insist Rubio and Paul are “conservatives” when they are lying Amnesty Liberals

And WHO is pulling Rubio’s strings...the same people who have destroyed EVERY immigration reform since the 80’s.

You need to know how this comes about. Rubio and the gang of 8 have lined up with CPac/ ACU’s Grover Norquist and the South Poverty Law Center to push this amnesty and destroy all active anti amnesty groups.

Southern Poverty Law Center Finds Fewer Militias, Hypes Militia Threat Anyway (FR mentioned)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3006724/posts?page=7#7

[snip]At the heart of the attack is the accusation that the leading members of some groups critical of immigration policy were or still are environmentalists and liberals. This attack piggybacks on earlier work by the Southern Poverty Law Center that used some of the same information to accuse those groups of being tied to Neo-Nazi and White Supremacist groups. There’s something rather strange when “conservative sites” not only begin advocating for illegal alien amnesty, but begin repeating the claims that the Center for American Progress, Mother Jones and the Southern Poverty Law Center were making about anti-immigration groups 5-10 years ago. The same Norquist tactics being used to attack the anti-immigration movement can and will be used to attack the Counterjihadist camp.

If they have an (R) after their name, I don’t vote for ‘em. I know who they really are.

Rubio and his henchmen, like Grover Norquist & Cesar Conda CONNED conservatives, especially the ‘tea party’ (likely the hijacked fAKE tea party) to get elected. HE IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE...he is the people who he chooses to surround himself with.

http://www.republicreport.org/2012/marco-rubio-lobbyist/

Lobbyists, hoping to persuade lawmakers and their staffs on any number of important issues, breeze in and out of the halls of the Capitol every day. But a growing trend that has alarmed ethics experts is the extent to which influence peddlers have burrowed into government to take jobs that place them in positions of power. A stunning example of this phenomenon is Senator Marco Rubio’s right-hand man.

Rubio is often touted by the press as a young, fresh face for the Republican Party. But as soon as he took the oath of office in January of 2011, he hired an experienced Washington corporate operative as his chief of staff, Cesar Conda.

Conda, a former aide to Dick Cheney in the first term of the Bush administration and a former analyst for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, helped found Navigators Global, a lobbying firm with offices in D.C. and Sacramento, in 2003. There, he helped a multitude of corporate clients, ranging from Oracle Corporation to PG&E to CitiGroup, with advancing their interests before the federal government, including Congress.

Conda left Navigators Global in January of 2011 only days before being tapped as Rubio’s chief of staff, the most influential non-elected position in a congressional office. But the relationship with Navigators Global, which continues to lobby Congress for at least 16 different clients — including private prison powerhouse GEO Group, New York Life Insurance, and UPS — didn’t end.[snip]

NOTE that’ private prison GEO Group’....there is BIG money in incarcerating illegal aliens!!!! They give big political contributions to amnesty legislators!
