In fact, I am at a loss for words to properly describe these comments.
Especially when made against the backdrop of the Gosnell trial.
What is certain is that there is a level of depravity at at work in this country that has crossed a number of red lines that should never be crossed.
It seems that, in many critical moral and ethical realms, there is at work an “in your face” presentation of blatant and egregious behavior that goes against every value, ideal, ethic, codes of conduct and lawfulness that Americans used to hold dearly and the country and it’s people are being forced to not just accept this behavior, but to actually affirm the behavior, call it good, bless it as a sacrament of the new morality, and finally to endorse and accept it as the “New Normal”
The implicit challenge here by the opposition is an equally in your face, “So, what are you going to do about it”
The deterioration is such that serious criminality, lawlessness and or outright evil is being exposed and the years of political and media deception and white washing and of the issues and the veils of euphemistic rhetoric used to deceptively frame of the debates are being lifted to show the true horror of what we have wrought.
The is not like the old days where one could have a principled debate on issues because the situation has deteriorated to the point where the issue is not within the realm of debate, the issue is about either willfully accepting the unaccepting the unacceptable, opposing the unacceptable.
Now there is increasingly no more room for middle ground or grey areas. It’s becoming very stark black and white situation where we are being presented with the choice of accepting or opposing that which is unacceptable. It is no longer possible to say one is uninformed, does not know what is going on, or that one has been deceived because what is happening around us is plain for all to see.
At the same time, the wolf is becoming bolder and so confident that it seems to care less that the sheep’s clothing it has been wearing for so long is being exposed and ripped off.
As we slid increasingly faster down and increasingly steeper and more slippery slope, the seriousness and horrors of the situation does not allow for the luxury of sitting on the sidelines because to remain silent is to knowingly accept the situation and do nothing about it.
People of good faith are being mau -maued into accepting the unacceptable.
It will be interesting to see America rises to the challenge.
There is little time because people who do stand up and oppose are increasingly coming under increasingly bitter and vengeful attacks and the Government is increasingly beginning to step into the situation sand bring the full force of government to bear against those who oppose that which is unacceptable.
If this is left to stand we will go down an increasingly very dark path with no way to find our way back.
Soon we will be judged for our actions and many, if not most of us, will be judged and found wanting, as much for our negligence for allowing these things to happen as those who will be judged for actively participating in them.
Bringing judgement down upon us all.
