To support the Gang of Ocho's amnesty bill you have to believe Barack Obama but not Bill Maher

HBO’s Bill Maher recently spoke the truth about the Gang of Ocho’s amnesty bill saying, “…. They [Republicans] know …they’re just creating more Democrats.”

Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte doesn’t understand this. Anyone who denies this or doesn’t understand the destructive results of this amnesty bill is a jackass. As per Ockham’s razor Ayotte and the four dunces masquerading as conservatives in the Gang of Ocho are jackasses.

If this was say, March 1, Ayotte could possibly be excused for her stupidity. Three months ago most conservatives only suspected Barack Obama is a liar with the worst of intentions toward America. If Ayotte announced her support for the Democrats’ amnesty bill then it could be overlooked as sloppy staff work. That was then, but this is now. Ayotte and anyone who supports the amnesty bill today must be seen as...

Maybe Bill Maher understands that no matter how many millions of immigrants pour into our country, it won’t increase his audience since they won’t speak English.

In fact, poor Bill might actually have to do some work for a change — learn how to tell jokes in Spanish — if he wants to keep his job.

Their polls show that Hispanics will give all the credit to Dems (and votes) for an immigration reform bill.

Kelly Ayotte voted against that gun background check bill which was an unpopular thing for her to do in NH,

sO Bloomy and Dems and MSNBC targeted her in their ads for THAT VOTE, she got nothing but grief for it in townhall meetings there(Sandy Hook Moms were flown in to confront her for drama) , and so I think this is to compensate for that.

A few weeks ago I got a letter from the RNC, signed by Boehner, supposedly asking me what I thought about certain issues (taxes, spending....). Guess what issue they DIDN'T ask about? That's right, the one that is going to give the vote to people who will vote for more spending, gun control, the wrong side of everything that was on the "poll."

They ALL understand they are selling out our country! Every last one of them....... professional politicians do this for a living! These people have been BOUGHT OFF.....

The reform bill is built on fraud and lies. Illegal aliens who have forged and stole Social Security numbers and other official govt documents enabling them to ride the US gravy train, vote, get mtges, etc.....will now get citizenship if Sen Schmucky Schumer (D-NY) has his way.

==========================================

REFERENCE: Judiciary Committee member Sen Grassley offered a simple amendment to the Judiciary Committee considering the immigration bill. "The secretary (of homeland security) may not grant registered provisional immigrant status to an alien under this section unless the alien fully discloses to the secretary all the names and Social Security account numbers that the alien has ever used to obtain employment in the United States," said Grassley's amendment.

Grassley's amendment would not have prohibited illegal aliens from being converted into legal aliens just because they had used names and Social Security numbers that did not belong to them. It would only have required that the illegal aliens make the names and numbers they used known to DHS before they could be granted the right to legally live in the United States.

Grassley said, "Congress should not thumb its nose at the millions of Americans who are victims of identity theft, often perpetrated by an undocumented person who steals Social Security numbers to get jobs, govt benefits, driver's licenses and more. This amendment will simply require the person applying for RPI status to disclose any previously used Social Security numbers," said Grassley. "It's the first step to helping clean up the mess that's been created for the victim of identity theft. The amendment also authorizes certain federal agencies, upon receipt of this information, to notify individuals who were the victims."

===============================================

ON RECORD AS AIDING AND AETTING FELONIES Ranking member Sen Schumer dismissed Grassley's proposal. "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers," Schumer told his Judiciary Committee colleagues. "How are they going to remember all that, and are we going to delay RPI status? "(The) purpose of this bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.

==========================================

The Senate Judiciary committee defeated Grassley's amendment 8 to 10 on a party-line vote.

=======================================

ACTION ALERT Freepers should mobolize locally--get grand juries to begin indicting these Senators for FAILING TO UPHOLD THE LAW AGAINST FELONIES. A few convictions and imprisonment oughta wake up the treasonous Congress. KEEP IN MIND---those elected to office are held to a higher standard of law than we peons....but have never been held to account.

Maybe I am mistaken, but it seems like this initial vote to proceed passed by a bigger margin than the GWB/mccain/kennedy amnesty in 2007, and that's not a good sign.

I wonder what Mitch means by "more than an assurance" from Napolitano, considering that the govt. has never honored enforcement provisions in any amnesty in any meaningful way?

McConnell then says he'll look to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano for more than an "assurance": “I’m going to need more than an assurance from Secretary Napolitano, for instance, that the border is secure to feel comfortable about the situation on the border. Too often recently, we have been reminded that as government grows it becomes less responsible to the American people, and fails to perform basic functions either through incompetence or willful disregard of the wishes of Congress. Our continued failure to secure major portions of the border not only makes true immigration reform far more difficult; it presents an urgent threat to national security.

Mitch is a lying sack of shiite. Nappy told a senate committee in April, regarding border enforcement:

“Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano declared that she, President Barack Obama and other political officials at the top of this administration have the authority to decide which laws to enforce, and which ones to ignore.”

How about this poison pill? (The one problem with it is that you know an administration from either party would want to fudge, or outright lie about, the apprehension numbers, AND it might be what a Rand Paul needs to cover his *** to vote for it).

Where the bill's fate could be sealed in the Senate is with a vote on an amendment introduced by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas). Cornyn's amendment uses the 90 percent apprehension mark as a hard trigger before the path to citizenship can be enacted. It also includes provisions to monitor every segment of the Southern border and implement a nationwide "E-verify" system and a "biometric exit" system that would ensure workers don't overstay their visas. In other words, Cornyn's amendment would impose much stronger border security requirements before the path to citizenship could be activated — and might mean that it never gets activated at all. That's why Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and other Democrats view this as a "poison pill" amendment that may kill the legislation.

Yep, that was much worse than I thought it would be. 82-15.

Dems plan is to get at least 70 on the final vote to ‘force’ the GOP House to pass it without major changes

If it fails like the gun bill did, then the votes FOR it now wont matter for those that vote to kill it at the end,

But if it makes it out of Senate then all 82 are traitors and it is a massive sellout by them, even if some of them vote against it at the end.

Yep, that was much worse than I thought it would be. 82-15.

One reason that I would like to see more NO votes now, even though members can vote NO later, is that the margin of YESes probably lowers the morale of any potential anti-amnesty voters, and of course does the opposite for the bad guys.

But if it makes it out of Senate then all 82 are traitors and it is a massive sellout by them, even if some of them vote against it at the end.

Cornyn, for example, who voted YES, might be trying to avoid p***ing off the Dems, so that his "90% apprehension rate" (poison pill) amendment would be better received by the enemy. Maybe Joe Manchin?

Seeems like odds of passing that amendment (in the senate anyway) are pretty darned small.

As we saw they rejected Cruz’s amendments on the spot in committee knowing what he was up to.

What Republicans need to do is offer amendments for votes that makes the bill look like what Rubio kept promising conservatives that it is.
Examples : No $$$ from government meaning no EITC and they must support their kids w no help from taxpayers like food stamps,. And identify theft counts against them. No locally paid welfare either and they must pay for their own and dependents health insurance with their own money(they must be insured.)

Dems would have to kill them in votes but that would put the Senate Republicans on the spot if later they want to vote for the bill and claim they thought it was the bill that Rubio promised it was.

I can just see 2016 here :'They lied to the GOP again just like they did to Reagan. These Dems are downright evil. We must vote everyone out of office even if that means holding our noses and voting for every GOP who we hate, like McCain and Grahamnesty. This never would have happened if NO Dem held office.'

As we saw they rejected Cruz’s amendments on the spot in committee knowing what he was up to.

Cornyn might have a little better luck on the floor than Cruz did in committee, (You know, WV rednecks calling Manchin's office) but - How many votes does it take to pass an amendment? 60? Whew!

Dems would have to kill them in votes but that would put the Senate Republicans on the spot if later they want to vote for the bill and claim they thought it was the bill that Rubio promised it was.

Yes, but do they really care whether Dems take over? In the long run, evidently not. They may not care much what the GOP base thinks any more because they have their retirement nest well prepared!
