Rumor has it that the president and the democrats want immigration reform to fail . . .

I have had a sneaking suspicion that this was the case, especially when they tried to add in the same sex partner clause. That way, when Republicans vote against it, they lose the Latino AND gay vote. Maybe the Republicans are seeing through their game.

Brit Hume just on Fox. Says the Latino thing is a red herring. Romney got 30% of Latino vote; Obama 70%. Latinos are 10% of the vote. Says that this makes a difference in a really tight election (Obama won with 50.8% of the vote) but will not decide 2016 if the vote is not close and the Repubs target voters as did Obama.
