Palin’s tweet links to a story from TownHall.com detailing Sen. Marco Rubio’s (D-Fla.) flip-flop over amnesty for illegal immigrants.
During a debate with opponents Rep. Kendrick Meek and Gov. Charlie Crist, candidate Rubio argued that giving illegal immigrants an “earned path to citizenship,” which Crist, Sen. John McCain and former President George W. Bush had advocated, is basically amnesty.
Rubio, who won that 2010 election, is now the leading Republican in the U.S. Congress pushing for illegal aliens to be given the earned path to citizenship that he himself insisted was “code for amnesty” only three years ago

Rush has backed off some from Rubio somewhat fearing that he would single handedly take out our eventual candidate in 2016.That fear is about over with Rubios' continual sliding to the left.
I expect to hear more of the truth on the AM dial. Historically, it was possible to remain a rino and still get reelected as information didn't travel at the speed of light as it does today. Now, not so likely, IMHO.

I sorta checked out the blackmail angle on Rubio trying to give him every advantage I could. I really supported him at one time,but all I found was an ancient espanol hissy fit involving Uninvision TV and Rubio's brother-in-law on a coke charge which doesn't even get an acknowledgment in South Florida. Hardly blackmailable.

Thanks for the ping, Sharky. We were driving out in the desert today, near the border and stopped by a gas station/gift shop. About 10 of us were in a very clear line. Lo and behold, some IA who doesn’t speak English cut us all off and got waited on first. The metaphor was simply staggering. The stupid clerk (looked like her relative) should have said something too. I almost pounded the IA’s head, she was about two feet shorter than me.
