Tragically, I think you’re right - but I also think it isn’t going to end quickly. The US has tremendous internal societal reserves and it will take some time for even the likes of modern liberals to completely burn them up. IOW, things will totter on for some time yet.
The context is they are both drawing judgements on this affair without being in full possession of the facts. The only people who really know that are the jury, because they aer the only ones who saw all the evidence.
I realize what his context is, but he’s wrong. Rush and Levin specifically made the point that only the jury heard the entire testimony, etc.
He’s trying to paint himself as somehow “above” both sides, with the connotation that both sides are equally wrong. That’s just absurd.
