The others will likely be Rubio, Santorum and Jeb Bush. I doubt Cruz will jump in and risk splitting the vote. I suspect the field will be more crowded than that. But it also raised an interesting question. If Palin has announced that she is on "Team Rand" then does that mean there is no way she's going to run herself?

I will never again vote for a Senator to become President. Senators are legislators. Presidents are administrators. Two entirely different skill sets. Rand Paul needs to get himself elected and serve a term as Governor of KY. Then run for President. Ill vote for him then. The governor in the state just south of me will probably be glad to hear you say that. I expect he'll be running himself.

Folks, this is NOT an endorsement of Rand Paul for President.
All she did was pick sides between Rand Paul and Chris Christie.
And their divergent philosophies.
That’s all, folks.
I can’t believe I’m needing to point this out.

Yes I should have realized it was a bit tongue in cheek with a dash of sarcasm...

No, it means only one thing. As between the philosophies of Christie and Paul, she’s with Paul. To conclude ANYTHING else, as the poster of this thread and other comments did - such as “nice early endorsement” - is to take out of context a few words so as to distort the point she was making.
Christie equals bigger government.
Paul equals smaller government.
Remember, she was asked to comment on the feud.
Context is EVERYTHING.

I can get behind Rand or Ted - or both, in any order. Rubio, Santorum, Jeb Bush all no fly zone for me. Can’t and won’t vote for them.

I don’t agree 100 percent with Rand, but he is distancing himself from business as usual politics and big government Republicans in most cases.
I’m willing to listen to him, Cruz, Palin and in the talk media Glenn Beck.
Beyond that I think they all smell more, but I still listen to them to read between the lines about what they are saying.

Libertarianism is what is going to turn things around, it should be clear by now that conservatives alone wont get it done. Have to agree...

I'm with ya. I gotta tell ya though, we've had our liberties trampled so thoroughly over the last decade and a half...it's time to turn this ship around.
To: txrangerette
No, it means only one thing. As between the philosophies of Christie and Paul, shes with Paul.I completely agree. And she is 100% against Christie no matter what.

I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism -Ronald Reagan”......
If it was good enough for Reagan, I’d jump on his wagon.

I’ll go with your endorsement Sarah.
It would be great for America if you were on the other half of that ticket and Paul would appoint Joe Arpaio was Attorney General.

I also am not thrilled with him, because of some statements I heard him say with regard to Amnesty, defacto Amnesty, and comprehensive immigration reform. I am in the same boat. My hope is that without such welfare as we have now, the illegal invaders will a) not have such incentive to break-in and b) won't cost nearly as much if they do break in.
At least that's my hope.

Right now, “conservatives” can't agree with one another on a candidate that is strong enough to dethrone the demodummies. The demodummies have conservatives on the run and have a long head start towards who will represent them in 2016. IMO, conservatives need to DUMP every one of the old “Republican Guard” and start thinking about saving this country.

Amen to that!! Can't say he's my cup of tea, exactly... but much more palatable than GOP-RINO selected ANTI-CHRIST candidates.

Sarah has it right.
Also, this is Palin’s best function, as a solidly conservative spokesman not as a candidate.
