The Lawless Dictator
The Market-ticker ^ | August 24, 2013 | Karl Denninger

Are we, the people, going to allow yet another unlawful military action to take place?

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel suggested Friday that the Pentagon was moving naval forces closer to Syria in preparation for a possible decision by President Obama to order military strikes.

Hagel declined to describe any specific movements of U.S. forces. He said Obama asked that the Pentagon to prepare military options for Syria and that some of those options "requires positioning our forces."

I don't seem to recall a Declaration of War by Congress. And there is certainly no exigent emergency that requires an immediate response by our military prior to the time that such a declaration could be reasonably obtained.

Yes, I know, Obama said the use of chemical munitions (if it occurred) was his "red line" months ago and now he has his schwantz in his hand, it would appear, in that he either has to act or be seen as "weak" and "feckless" (not that this would be anything new.)

But the fact remains that an offensive military strike is an act of war, and while there is a clean argument that such a strike is lawful under our Constitution when exigent circumstances exist and require immediate response, this is clearly not one of those cases.

Wake up America; we're not supposed to be a dictatorship but we're sure acting like we are one, and both our Congress and our people appear to be bowing before the King.

A great many people in this nation recognize that BHO2 has become a dictator, and Congress is doing nothing to stop him.

So, when are we, the American people, going to do something about this?

Under the undocumented Moslem Indonesian impostor,
the US gov’t and the US Pentagon support al Qaeda,
protect al Qaeda, arm al Qaeda with WMD, SAM and MANPADs,
leave the borders open for al Qaeda, and
make Americans their enemy using the IRS, NSA, and
even genital inspections by the TSA.

America is lawless and wide open to its Enemy
as the US Congress remains dazed, drunk, whoring,
violating its Oath, and making ITSELF immune from law.

Hasn’t Russia already beefed up it’s Naval presence in Syria?

US moving in Naval forces may not be a good idea.

Yes, thank you. We all know that, don’t we.

So, what are we, the American people, going to do about it?

the timing of his “intervention” is telling....he has supported al quida from the Iranian people uprising and he supported Iran’s theocracy.

He supports Assad.

He overthrew Mubarak and leaves Gen Al Sisi to wing it.

He refused to protect Iraq and let Al quida take it over.

I am disgusted and feel so helpless.

Smells like a quagmire to me.

As for doing something to stop BHO I don’t think we have the will to stop him. We’re terrified of being politically incorrect and being called names and too many people are convinced that we can fix all of the nation’s problems at the ballot box.

FWIW, the system is irreparably broken and our politicians are so corrupt that trying to fix it at the ballot box is no longer an option.

Which means we are stalemated and will continue to watch our country be taken down by the communist, Kenyan, muslim Fraud-in-Chief!!

As a military mother, wife, daughter and granddaughter, WTH do they think they can do. Send in cruise missiles, kill civilians and then what. The only thing that would perhaps work would be boots on the ground and separate the protagonists, if you could even figure out who was who. We don’t have any boots left to put on the ground. The military is exhausted and is being destroyed by the cuts and social experimentation. Bring all the military home from these God forsaken places.

What are the chances of our military on its way to “clean house” in Syria to take the scenic route through Washington and do some “house cleaning’ there first???

I guess he’ll just go over there on Air Force One and show them his Nobel Peace Prize. Then they’ll know he only wishes peace to everyone and they’ll all go home.

A quagmire is just mud. This has all the makings of a full blown pit of crap otherwise known as a cesspool.

This just adds more mess to the fracas. Did the rebels kill their own people with their own homemade chemical weapons?

How far will obastard go to support a jihad with our own military? That is what he is doing you know.

Congress is doing nothing to stop him.

Mel Brooks said it best, "We've got to protect our phoney baloney jobs! Harumph! Harumph!"

This is grounds for impeachment if he goes to war, and we need to put the pressure on Congress over this. Russia is serious about Syria, and Obama could get us involved in a WWI style escalation that nobody except he and McCain want.

The people no longer have any control of their government. Those who lust for power have finally been able to put all the pieces into play and they now have full control of the federal government of the United States, with the knowing help of the "news" media, of course.

Democrats, whose sole purpose for getting elected to national office is unbridled power, now have their cronies in all the little places throughout the various governmental agencies doing what useful idiots are used for: thinking they're working for a greater good when in reality they are simply being used for another's quest for more power.

It's going to be an interesting next few years, especially 2016, but I feel mostly sorrow for my children, who undoubtedly will be little more than slaves to the behemoth federal government being created by King Zero and his lackey monkeys. It should be a real eye-opener for those liberals who have worked to create what they think will be a "society", when they find themselves little more than the normal "useful idiots".

The leftards complain about GHW Bush and GW Bush, who both went through Congress, and yet Party Secretary Obama does not need to even consult with Congress.
