Filling in for Martin Bashir Wednesday, MSNBC’s Joy Reid attempted to figure out why of the 11,000 shooting deaths that occur in this country, do only a handful of them “capture the media’s–and thus the public’s–attention.” After Newtown, Aurora and Trayvon Martin, Reid sees the media paying extra attention to the apparently random shooting of Australian Chris Lane by three “bored” Oklahoma teenagers and the narrowly avoided catastrophe at a Georgia elementary school.
Reid argued that it’s not “race, poverty, gangs, or even video games and movies” that tie these shooting together. It’s access to guns. “These are obviously two very different stories on many levels,” she said. “The location is different, the race of the suspects is different, the types of guns used. But can we get away from the fact that the common denominator are young people with access to guns?” [...]
Seeing the right “directly trying to bait the president on race, a situation with the baseball player that’s already so tragic,” Reid asked, “Why do they seem so determined to also make it racial?”

White guy murdered by some bored black guys. Yeah, I guess that’s not racial.
But a hispanic guy (we’ll call him a white hispanic) kills a black guy who’s pounding his head on the pavement, and that’s racial.

You just can’t make it up. You really can’t. They have absolutely no shame, and won’t waiver from their self-evident hypocrisy no matter what. All you can do is point out, loudly, how hypocritical they are, and hope someone listens.
Thought experiment for Joy Reid: if three white guys declared they were bored and randomly shot some black guy, would Joy accept it was non-racial, just on their say-so?
When a “white” shoots a black thug, it is about race.
When a black thug shoots a white, it is about guns.
Beginning to see a pattern, anyone?
The tv host should address the beating death of Shorty by two flashlight wielding blacks....

You can’t make this stuff up. Liberals seize every opportunity from politics to how you bake cookies to claim racism. Then when conservatives point out an obvious case of racist-inspired violence, the left adopts a straight face and claims not to understand. The unbelievable hypocrisy of the left has reached galactic proportions.
All three of Christopher Lane's alleged assailants were minors, so it was already illegal for them to have access to guns, genius! Criminals don't follow the rules, Joy.
