FReeper Merlinator Has Passed Away

I found out on Facebook that a freeper...”Merlinator”...

....passed away in May. It was a very sudden death...she had just been posting On Facebook on May 14th. Sorry it took so long to post her tribute thread, but t took me a while to figure out that my Facebook friend, Diane Emmerich, and Merlinator were one and the same. I didn’t want to announce it or ask for her name to be put on the memorial wall and then find out she was still ok.

I’m so sorry to hear of Merlinator’s passing and join with the others here lifting her loved ones up to God for His peace, blessing and guidance as they deal with her homegoing.

Her request in the obituary to send donations to an avian rescue organization gives insight into the goodness of her caring heart. She unselfishly placed others ahead of herself. She now awaits the resurrection hope as promised by Jehovah at John 5:28, 29.

She had several parrots! I think they were her “kids”! She also raised orchids. They had...according to posts on her Facebook...an auction to sell the ones she had raised so they wouldn’t just get thrown away or die or something.

Need to get back on a regular eating and sleeping schedule, and dial back the coffee. It's still a little weird, thinking Dad's welcoming Mom up there, and she's telling him, Hey, Joe, stay off of my cloud.

My brother is hardest hit, I think, and has a longer road to normalville.

Perhaps you were lucky for not marrying a Korean. You probably would have been listed on the Memorial Wall. I had to flee the country to escape from my ex. Not interested in dying young.
